The Registrant hereby amends its Current Report on Form 8-K which was filed with the Commission on February 19, 2019 to correct a typographical error in the date of the reported event.

On February 15, 2019, Karen B. Thorwarth, a member of the Board of Directors of Glen Burnie Bancorp (the “ Company ”) since 1995, notified the Company that, due to personal reasons, she has determined to not stand for re-election upon the expiration of her current term as a Director at the upcoming Annual Meeting of Shareholders to be held on May 9, 2019.
