The reporting person undertakes to provide to Columbia Sportswear Company, any security holder of Columbia Sportswear Company, or the staff of the Securities and Exchange Commission, upon request, full information regarding the number of shares sold at each price within the range set forth in this footnote to this Form 4.
(2)  The price reported in Column 4 is a weighted average price. These shares were sold in multiple transactions at prices ranging from $88.00 to $88.87, inclusive. The reporting person undertakes to provide to Columbia Sportswear Company, any security holder of Columbia Sportswear Company, or the staff of the Securities and Exchange Commission, upon request, full information regarding the number of shares sold at each price within the range set forth in this footnote to this Form 4.
(3)  The reporting person no longer has a reportable interest in 1,579,134 shares beneficially owned by the reporting person's spouse prior to his death and included in the reporting person's prior ownership report.
(4)  DSRA, LLC ownership is allocated as follows: Ms. Bany's Revocable Trust 5%, the David C. Bany Trust UAD 3/15/2018 5%, and the remaining 90% is owned by trust for the benefit of Ms. Bany's family.
(5)  On September 26, 2014 the option price and number of shares were adjusted to reflect COLM for 2-for-1 stock split.
(6)  On 5/21/2009, the reporting person was granted 11,608 stock options. The option grant vested one-third of the shares on the first three anniversaries of the grant date.
(7)  On 5/21/2009, the reporting person was granted 8,338 stock options. The option grant vested 100% of the shares on the first anniversary of the grant date.
