BMT Wealth Management, a division of The Bryn Mawr Trust Company
(BMT, the “Company”) and wholly owned by Bryn Mawr Bank Corporation
(NASDAQ: BMTC) (the “Corporation”), announced today that Ms. Joanne
Shallcross has been hired as Senior Vice President, Relationship
Manager. She will report to BMT Wealth Management President
Jennifer Dempsey Fox and will be based out of the Berwyn, Pa.
Wealth Management office.
Ms. Shallcross will, in the newly created role
within BMT Wealth Management, serve as an additional point of
contact for clients, for those of special-needs in particular. She
will help identify client needs, prepare financial plans, and
coordinate expertise and resources from across the organization to
deliver meaningful solutions.
“Our clients and their overall experience are
incredibly important,” said Fox. “We evaluate our service model
regularly and make thoughtful enhancements as opportunities are
identified. The new Relationship Manager role will help deepen the
relationship and enhance the planning experience between our
special-needs clients and their BMT advisors who protect their
assets and manage their nuanced financial matters.”
Ms. Shallcross has more than a decade of wealth
management experience. Her most recent role was as senior
relationship strategist. Prior to that she served as a wealth
planner and trust administrator. Prior to working in the wealth
arena, she practiced law, working in association with a variety of
legal firms and in private practice. Her unique background
positioned her to focus on Special Needs Trusts, Irrevocable
Trusts, Delaware Asset Protection Trusts, and Post-Settlement
Planning. Joanne holds a J.D. from Widener University Law School, a
master’s degree in nursing from the University of Pennsylvania, and
a bachelor’s degree in nursing from the University of
Pittsburgh.
“Joanne is a fantastic addition to our team,”
said Fox. “Her unique set of life experiences, as a senior wealth
planner, an attorney, and as a nurse practitioner, will be of value
and comfort to our clients, particularly those with special needs.
Joanne will have a positive impact on how we serve clients and
support their goals over time.”
