According to FORTUNE Small Business Magazine, American Medical
Alert Corp. (NASDAQ:AMAC) has been picked by a group of 5 money
managers as one of the top five small stocks for holding the
promise for future returns, as part of the FORTUNE Small Business
Magazines seventh annual FSB 100 list of the fastest growing small
companies in America. The annual FSB 100 list, which is comprised
of public companies, appears in the July/August issue of FORTUNE
Small Business Magazine and is also available at FSB.com. This is
the second consecutive year that AMAC has made the FSB 100 list. As
reported by FSB, AMAC received a thumbs up by John McCraw,
managing director of Nicholas-Applegate US Micro Cap (nacm.com), a
small cap fund in San Diego, for its growing earnings per share and
its position in the marketplace. AMAC ranked 99 on the list, which
is comprised of public companies with annual revenues less than
$200 million and a stock price of more than $1. To compile the
seventh annual list, FORTUNE Small Business Magazine asked
financial research firm Zacks to rank public companies, based on
their percentage growth in earnings, revenue, and stock performance
over the past three years. Banks and real estate firms were
excluded. Jack Rhian, AMAC's Chief Executive Officer and President
commented, We are honored to be recognized by FORTUNE Small
Business Magazine for our accomplishments. This acknowledgement is
a reflection of results from our focused business strategies and
