Pagers and Walkie Talkies spontaneously combusted in Lebanon, could this be caused by Geomagnetic unrest, solar storms, hutchinson effects or aliens. Is this the same things that are causing Tesla cars to lose control and crash ? any thoughts as this proves your theory is spot on !

The robots will go out of control and spontaneously combust just like the cars do. If that didnt happen then these would definitely be needed.

Section 2 - The computer errors from outer space
(Elon Musk: Model S not a car but a ‘sophisticated computer on wheels’)

When computers go wrong, we tend to assume it's just some software hiccup, a bit of bad programming. But ionising radiation, including rays of protons blasted towards us by the sun, can also be the cause. These incidents, called single-event upsets, are rare and it can be impossible to be sure that cosmic rays were involved in a specific malfunction because they leave no trace behind them.

And yet they have been singled out as the possible culprits behind numerous extraordinary cases of computer failure. From a vote-counting machine that added thousands of non-existent votes to a candidate's tally, to a commercial airliner that suddenly dropped hundreds of feet mid-flight, injuring dozens of passengers
Plus, since giant ejections from the sun can sometimes send huge waves of particles towards Earth, what's called space weather, an unnerving prospect looms: we could see much more disruption to computers than we're used to during a massive geomagnetic storm in the future

Section 3 - Superseding and/or Intervening Force

Tesla argues it had no control in the crash and death which were "caused by a superseding and/or intervening force."
There you have it folks Tesla admits an outside force caused this Tesla to glitch and go out of control. That is true, its not Teslas fault, per se, that its vehicles go out of control. Its the destabilized electromagnetic environment we are experiencing as a result of the earths continued weakening of its magnetic field. While I do not disagree that this is an outside force causing its vehicles to go out of control, its precisely why computers on wheels (Teslas/EVs/computerized ICE) should not be on the roads. Because these vehicles will continue to go out of control and with more frequency putting the greater public in danger. EVs will continue to destroy lives whether through killing those involved, created long-term psychological damage, or leading to the incarceration of people who did nothing wrong other than drive an EV.
Also as Tesla is aware of the problem and does not warn the public its liable for everyone of its vehicles going out of control!

Section 8 - Hutchison Effect & Teslas Whompy Wheel issue

Jain is one of tens of thousands of Tesla owners who have experienced premature failures of suspension or steering parts, according to a Reuters review of thousands of Tesla documents. The chronic failures, many in relatively new vehicles, date back at least seven years and stretch across Tesla’s model lineup and across the globe, from China to the United States to Europe, according to the records and interviews with more than 20 customers and nine former Tesla managers or service technicians.

https://www.reuters.com/investigates/special-report/tesla-musk-steering-suspension/

The exact cause of the Hutchison Effect is unknown in public spheres as it is classified under national security. However the most likely culprit seems to be a combination of electromagnetic sources coming together in a way to change the makeup of metals leading to their rusting, softening, fracturing, complete breaking, even dustification. Keep in mind the degree of metal materials that are within our buildings and infrastructure...even in concrete. Maybe this is why we are seeing an increase in building and bridge collapses?

MI Tesla Kills Three in Head-on Crash

There have been several fatal crashes like this lately, where a vehicle exiting a freeway on the wrong side is struck head-on by a Tesla.
According to a preliminary investigation, a 2024 Nissan Rogue was traveling the wrong way on eastbound M-14 and exited the freeway onto the eastbound entrance ramp from Gotfredson. The Rogue crashed head-on into a 2020 Tesla that was attempting to enter M-14 from Gotfredson, police said.

Given the devastation to the Tesla and deaths in these cases, it appears as if rapid acceleration by FSD using the onramp like a missile launch may be a factor.
Another three dead connected to a Tesla accident. The new Nissan Rogue was heading the wrong way and was exiting the M-14 so its definitely at fault. That said why couldnt the Tesla and Nissan avoid each other? Look at the on/off ramps at that intersection and you can see there is plenty of room to avoid each other as well as plenty of visual time to react so why did they hit each other head-on?

https://i.imgur.com/QPezUp3.jpeg

I tried to capture a screenshot where the view of oncoming traffic was most impeded and theres still plenty of time to react.

Point 1: "Random superposition of a negative-going voltage spike"

Response: So, basically, a Tesla's acceleration is controlled by a cosmic dice roll? That's a new level of automotive technology.

While electrical interference can occur, the idea that a random voltage spike would consistently cause a car to accelerate without driver input seems highly improbable. Modern electronic systems are designed with redundancy and fail-safes to prevent such catastrophic events.

Point 2: "Incorrectly increased sensor signals...causing Tesla and NHTSA to conclude..."

Response: Ah, so Tesla and NHTSA are just a bunch of bumbling idiots who can't tell the difference between a driver's foot and a random voltage spike.

Major automotive manufacturers have rigorous testing and quality control procedures to ensure the accuracy of sensor data. It's unlikely that such a widespread issue would go unnoticed for so long.

Point 3: "What can cause the random negative voltage spikes is from induced currents from Electromagnetic Interference"

Response: So, aliens are behind the wheel of your Tesla? Or maybe it's just a particularly strong Wi-Fi signal.

While electromagnetic interference (EMI) can be a concern, it's typically mitigated through shielding and grounding techniques. It's unlikely that EMI would consistently cause the specific issue described.

Point 4: "E3 wave (which is similar to conditions during a geostorm) causes voltage depression"

Response: Great, so now we have to worry about solar storms causing our Teslas to go rogue.
While extreme weather events can affect power grids, the impact on individual vehicles is typically minimal. Modern cars have backup systems and can often operate independently of external power sources.

Overall, the claims presented in this conspiracy theory seem highly speculative and lack credible evidence. If there were widespread issues with Tesla's sudden unintended acceleration, we would likely hear about them from multiple sources, including independent investigations and consumer reports.

It's important to approach such claims with a healthy dose of skepticism and rely on reputable sources for information.

NHTSA Petition Claims Tesla Sudden Unintended Acceleration Is Real

New information received by the NHTSA shows that sudden unintended acceleration events with Tesla EVs were real and not driver errors. The report explains in detail what caused the cars to accelerate even when the accelerator pedal was not pressed.
What's worse is that the incorrectly increased sensor signals will be sent via the CAN bus to the vehicle logs, causing Tesla and NHTSA to conclude that the driver caused the sudden increase in torque by stepping on the accelerator pedal. But in this case, the sudden acceleration was caused not by the driver stepping on the accelerator pedal but by a random superposition of a negative-going voltage spike (which is about 100 microseconds long), and the sampling time of the analog-to-digital converter (which is about 10 microseconds long). This random superposition explains the low occurrence rate of sudden acceleration in Tesla vehicles
https://www.autoevolution.com/news/breaking-nhtsa-petition-shows-tesla-s-sudden-unintended-acceleration-is-real-and-curable-217525.html

As posted previously this new petition will likely be dismissed as I don't think Teslas SUA problem is easily fixed as Dr. Belt suggests. Furthermore, Tesla is aware of its SUA problem, trying to fix it, and hasnt managed to yet.

What can cause the random negative voltage spikes is from induced currents from Electromagnetic Interference. As explained in the following quote, E3 wave (which is similar to conditions during a geostorm) causes voltage depression in power lines and it seems in Tesla system as well. Like regulators at a substation, Tesla system seems to try to make up for this voltage depression causing voltage spikes leading to SUA and logs recording high accelerator pressure even though the driver hasn't touched the accelerator.

E3 can also affect subtransmission and distribution systems by causing harmonic distortion and voltage depression. The voltage regulators at the substation will attempt to correct for low voltage levels on distribution circuits. This attempt can result in overvoltages when the E3 stimulus decays to a low value

Debunking more Conspiracy Theories , gods prophet saving the earth with no societal rewards, one message at a time. : A Response to the Claims

Counterargument 1: Electromagnetic interference (EMI) is causing Teslas to drive on their own.

Rebuttal: While EMI can potentially affect electronic systems, it's unlikely to be the primary cause of Tesla vehicles driving without driver input. Tesla's Autopilot system employs a complex array of sensors, including cameras, radar, and ultrasonic sensors, which are designed to be resistant to EMI. Additionally, Tesla's software continuously monitors the system's performance and can detect and mitigate potential issues caused by EMI or other factors.
Counterargument 2: The EMI is coming from outside the car.

Rebuttal: While external sources of EMI can potentially affect electronic systems, it's more likely that internal factors within the vehicle, such as software glitches, hardware failures, or driver error, are the primary causes of incidents where Tesla vehicles have driven without driver input. The claim that EMI from outside the car is the sole culprit is unsupported by evidence.
Counterargument 3: Low-frequency magnetic fields can affect ECUs.

Rebuttal: While it's true that low-frequency magnetic fields can potentially affect certain electronic components, Tesla's ECUs are designed to be shielded from such interference. Additionally, the company's software includes safeguards to detect and mitigate any potential issues caused by EMI or other factors.
Counterargument 4: EMI can affect the input signal of sensors and ECU output.

Rebuttal: While EMI can potentially affect electronic signals, Tesla's system is designed to be resilient to such interference. The company's engineers have taken steps to ensure that the sensors and ECUs are adequately shielded and that the software can detect and correct any errors caused by EMI.
Conclusion

The claim that EMI is causing Tesla vehicles to drive on their own without driver input is unsupported by evidence. While EMI can potentially affect electronic systems, it's unlikely to be the primary cause of such incidents. Tesla's Autopilot system is designed to be resilient to EMI and other factors, and the company's engineers have taken steps to ensure the safety and reliability of their vehicles.

Heres another example of it being claimed in the media that electromagnetic interference is causing Teslas to drive on their own without driver input. Case study of where this has been observed in other EVs posted below. Video of the Tesla driving itself is here:

Video Footage:

https://youtu.be/AuViTuuYgpg

For an expert opinion, KXAN took the case to Dragan Djurdjanovic. A professor in mechanical engineering, Djurdjanovic looked into similar allegations against Tesla around 2008. The expert said it's very possible that electromagnetic interference between wires caused the accident.
Its EMI but not from inside the car. Instead its coming from outside the car which is why Teslas only go out of control like this during geomagnetic unrest. Also in 2008 it was Toyotas that were having problems with SUA.
https://carbuzz.com/news/tesla-driver-claims-model-y-caused-massive-crash-on-its-own

Not only can low-frequency magnetic fields pose health hazards to human beings, but they can also affect some electric control units (ECUs) in a vehicle. An ECU that consists of Hall-effect sensors located near the battery pack or powertrain modules could be affected by the low-frequency magnetic field if no sufficient shielding is provided.
https://incompliancemag.com/article/low-frequency-magnetic-fields-in-electric-vehicles/

The electromagnetic  interference  affects  the  automobile  electronic  control  system  mainly  in  two  ways:  one is  to  affect  the  input  signal  of  the  sensor  of  the  electronic  control  system,  causing  distortion  and resulting  in  electric  control  signal  where  the  ECU  output  does  not  match  the  driver's  intention,  which leads  to  the  wrong  operation  of  the  actuator;  the  other  is  to  interfere  the  ECU  output  signal  to  result  in its deviation,  misleading the operation of  the actuator.

Here's a breakdown addressing the claims in the Tesla crash theory:

1. Tesla Explosions:

Tesla fires are uncommon and typically not explosions. Battery fires can be intense, but car manufacturers prioritize safety features like lithium-ion battery packs with firewalls and automatic shut-off systems.
Firefighters have extensive training for electric vehicle fires, and the claim that they're "very, very difficult to put out" is an oversimplification.
2. Space Weather and Computer Errors:

Single-event upsets (SEUs) are very rare and unlikely to cause a complete system failure in a modern car with redundant safety features.
Tesla and other automakers rigorously test their vehicles' electronics to withstand electromagnetic interference.
3. Tesla's "Superseding Force" Argument:

This legal term likely refers to driver error, road conditions, or other external factors contributing to the crash, not a mysterious outside force controlling the car.
Tesla emphasizes driver responsibility even with Autopilot engaged, which requires driver attentiveness.
4. High Tesla Crash Rates:

Studies on crash rates might not consider factors like the popularity of Teslas compared to other brands.
New complex technology with features like Autopilot might lead to more reported crashes due to increased awareness, not necessarily worse safety.
Consulting NHTSA data offers a more comprehensive picture.
5. Unintended Acceleration Stories:

These are concerning, but isolated incidents don't reflect the overall safety record of Tesla vehicles.
Tesla investigates such claims, and software updates or recalls address verified issues.
6. & 7. Lists of Out-of-Control Teslas and Electromagnetic Interference:

Anecdotal evidence and unverified online lists aren't reliable sources.
Focus on official reports and investigations rather than internet forums for accurate data.
8. Hutchison Effect and Tesla Suspension Issues:

The Hutchison Effect is a fringe theory with no scientific consensus and no connection to Tesla crashes.
Suspension issues can occur in any car brand and are usually addressed through recalls or repairs.
Overall:

Technical issues, driver error, and road conditions can lead to accidents, but attributing every Tesla crash to a conspiracy theory is unfounded.
Tesla and other car manufacturers prioritize safety through rigorous testing, software updates, and driver education.
The Takeaway:

Wait for official investigations to determine crash causes.
Focus on verified data provided by the NHTSA for crash statistics.
It's a tragedy when anyone loses their life in a car crash. We should work on improving overall road safety and advocating for responsible driving habits.

Tesla “Exploded Like a Bomb” After Fiery Crash - Shrapnel Takes Down Passerby

In the latest of a long list of Tesla fires following crashes, two occupants of the Tesla vehicle are dead and others injured. Police report that the vehicle struck a curb and a tree before slamming into a multifamily residence. What happened next is quite unusual, even for a battery-electric vehicle fire. The vehicle exploded, and shrapnel from the powerful blast injured a bystander.

The White Plains (NY) Safety Commissioner David Chong commented on the explosion, saying, “These electric vehicles. The electric fires are very, very difficult to put out.” Witnesses say that the fire was so intense that police used a truck and tow cable to pull the vehicle away from the multifamily residence to help protect the structure from the ensuing inferno.

Mr. Chong described the way the Tesla was engulfed by saying, “It exploded like a bomb, quite honestly.” CBS News reporter Tony Aeillo described the blast as so powerful that shrapnel was sent flying, striking a person walking nearby who required medical attention for the injury. According to News12 Westchester, two children inside the apartment building were treated at the scene for injuries. Westchester News 12 also quoted property owner, property owner Bob Kraus as saying “This was a big impact, so she was doing substantial speed. Whether it was her fault or whether it was the car's fault, I'm not an investigator."
Other articles indicated a councilman lost his wife and daughter in law after they dropped off his daughter in laws kids at daycare. So you know they must have been joyriding *sarcasm*.

Question - After some time, can TSLA FSD be installed on any used GM or FORD cars. Your thoughts please. I will like to think "Yes". TSLA hardware should be able to be installed on any GM or Ford used cars. After installation, then connect to FSD. Please post your thoughts/ideas. I have benz now, ideally I may like to get full FSD on my benz (not present Benz FSD but TSLA type full FSD). Thanks much.

Out-of-control Tesla explodes after crashing into apartment building, killing 2
The vehicle is believed to be an electric Tesla. How it was functioning is a component of the investigation

Two people died when an out-of-control vehicle hit a curb, then a tree and crashed into the front of an apartment building and exploded in Westchester County Monday, authorities say.

Emergency personnel responding to the 9:10 a.m. accident scene on Battle Avenue found the vehicle fully engulfed, with firefighters quickly going into action to put out the flames. The building also caught fire. Some who live on the second floor of the building ran out once they heard the sound of the explosion.

"[Firefighters] made the decision quick and smart decision of extricating from inside the building. So they tied it up to an emergency service truck," said White Plains Public Safety Commissioner David Chong.

A woman who lives on the first level of the building said she was lucky her son wasn't home at the time.

"I’m happy no one was at the apartment. My son is fine, he is away in college. I gotta break the news to him tonight," said Zaneta Williams. "His room is not here right now, but we’ll rebuild it."

The vehicle is believed to have been an electric Tesla. How it was functioning is a component of the investigation, but police believe the driver lost control at some point on Battle Avenue.

"We are trying to determine what happened here — if it was a mechanical issue or a personal, medical issue or something like that," said Chong.
Sounds like they suspect this Tesla may have had a mind of its own....'Maximum Overdrive' style...but want to rule out medical reasons. It wouldnt be a mechanical issue, its an electrical issue! Possibly computer related or electric motor even.

You can stand by that all you want and it might have been possible in a different enviornment. However as long as Teslas continue to go out of control because of EM radiation its not going to happen. And They will continue to go out of control and kill people! Just wait until a Semi does that in the city. Oooo the damage it'll do...

When computers go wrong, we tend to assume it's just some software hiccup, a bit of bad programming. Police: Fiery car crash into White Plains building leaves 2 dead

A driver lost control of a car in White Plains, veered onto a sidewalk and crashed into a tree and small apartment building, leaving two people inside the vehicle dead.
The incident occurred around 9:10 a.m. near 295 Battle Ave., according to Public Safety Commissioner David Chong.
The vehicle, believed to be a Tesla, exploded on impact, causing a fire in the building and significant damage.
2 more dead because of out of control Teslas. Thats 5 dead so far over the last 2 days both in spectacular accidents during enhanced geomagnetic activity from 1 or more solar storms. Tesla definitely knows how to put on a show. Sad thing is, this is real life. 😔 Teslas and other electric vehicles/hybrids, even newer ICE, pose a significant danger to the public because they depend on computers and electronics!
Tesla maybe one of the safest vehicles to get into an accident in, however you're more likely to get into an accident from being in a Tesla because of their propensity to go out of control/combust or even lock you or your young child inside.

Proof Electromagnetic radiation is causing EVs to go out of control and spontaneously combust.
4). Among the data records during the accidents according to the background data of the crashed vehicles or the data of on-vehicle terminals, the position values of most accelerator pedals were very high(99%) while the values of brake pedals were 0% or only non-zero in very limited moments (see Fig. 1 and Fig. 2).
Continued very high accelerator pressure with no braking is how you differentiate SUA from pedal misapplication.

In  recent  years,  there  have  been  numerous  out-of-control  accidents  of  electric  vehicles.
Occasional fault of electronic control unit caused by  electromagnetic interference
External  electromagnetic  interference  refers  to  that  caused  by electromagnetic  radiation  of  various  electrical  facilities  including  the  high  voltage  transmission  line, broadcasting  TV  devices  and  radio  communication  equipment  as  well  as  natural  phenomena  such  as lightning.

Electromagnetic  wave  interferes  the  electric  control  system  of  automobile  through  wiring  harness and  car  body to  make  it  hard  to  perform  or  even  send  wrong  instructions leading  to  wrong  actions  of various  actuators,  affecting  the  safety,  reliability  and  stability  of  automobile  driving.

1. Geomagnetic Storms and Car Crashes:

There's no evidence a geomagnetic storm directly caused the Tesla accident. Car crashes have many causes, and attributing them solely to rare events like solar flares is a stretch.
The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) investigates all crashes and hasn't linked them to space weather.
2. Computer Errors and Teslas:

Single-event upsets (SEUs) from cosmic rays are rare and unlikely to cause complete system failure in a modern car with robust safety features.
Tesla vehicles have multiple redundant systems to ensure safety in case of malfunctions.
3. Tesla's "Superseding Force" Argument:

This legal term likely refers to driver error, road conditions, or other external factors causing the crash, not an outside force controlling the car.
Tesla, like all car manufacturers, emphasizes driver responsibility even with advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS).
4. Tesla Crash Rates:

The cited study might not consider factors like the prevalence of Teslas on the road compared to other brands.
Newer cars with ADAS features might be involved in more reported crashes due to increased awareness of such events, not necessarily worse safety.
It's important to consult NHTSA data for a more comprehensive picture.
5. Unintended Acceleration Stories:

These are concerning, but isolated incidents don't reflect the overall safety record of Tesla vehicles.
NHTSA and Tesla investigate such claims, and software updates or recalls may address them if necessary.
6. & 7. Lists of Out-of-Control Teslas and Electromagnetic Interference:

Anecdotal evidence and unverified online lists aren't reliable sources.
Focus on official reports and investigations rather than internet forums for accurate crash data.
8. Hutchison Effect and Tesla Suspension Issues:

The Hutchison Effect is a fringe theory with no scientific consensus and no connection to Tesla crashes.
Suspension issues can occur in any car brand and are usually addressed through recalls or repairs.
Conclusion:

While technical issues and driver error can lead to accidents, attributing every Tesla crash to a conspiracy theory is unfounded.
Tesla and other car manufacturers work to improve safety through constant testing, software updates, and driver education.
Additional Points:

It's important to wait for official investigations to determine the cause of accidents.
Focus on verified data by the NHTSA for crash statistics.
It's a tragedy when anyone loses their life in a car crash, regardless of the vehicle involved. We should focus on improving overall road safety and responsible driving habits.

2 adults, 17-year-old girl killed in car crash on Garden State Parkway in New Jersey

Two adults and a 17-year-old girl are dead after a car crash on the Garden State Parkway.

The crash happened just before midnight on Saturday on the northbound side of the parkway in Woodbridge Township.

According to New Jersey State Police, 54-year-old David Dryerman was driving a Tesla when the car ran off the road. The car then struck a sign, guardrail and concrete bridge support.
Another CME, another geomagnetic storm, another Tesla veers off the road for unknown reasons killing people. In this case an entire family. Geomagnetic activity has been very active since the 12th with another potential CME on the way. Very large CME but it may skim the earths magnetic field as the bulk of it was sent away from the earth.

Limited Scope: The article focuses on fire officials' concerns in San Diego, but doesn't provide national data to definitively show a rise in lithium-ion battery fires.
Focus on Small Devices: The fire official highlights micro-mobility devices, not necessarily a significant increase in overall fires. More devices on the road simply means a higher chance of incidents being reported.
Comparison with Gas-Powered Vehicles: While acknowledging the potential for future EV fires, the theory ignores the established dangers of gasoline fires. Gas fires release a wider range of toxic fumes and are statistically more common than EV fires, causing significant property damage and injuries.
Misinterpretation of EMF Impact: The scientific study referenced discusses the effect of strong, external magnetic fields on battery charging and discharging. Everyday exposure to weak EMF from power lines or phones is unlikely to cause thermal runaway.
Industry Advancements: Battery technology is constantly evolving. Manufacturers like Tesla are implementing strategies (larger cells, magnetic shielding) to mitigate fire risks.
Alternative Explanation:

The increase in reported lithium-ion battery fires could be due to a combination of factors:

Growing Popularity: As more devices and vehicles use lithium-ion batteries, the overall number of potential fire incidents naturally increases.
Heightened Awareness: Public awareness of lithium-ion battery risks might lead to more incidents being reported, even if the actual rate hasn't changed significantly.
Conclusion:

While lithium-ion battery fires do pose a risk, it's important to consider the bigger picture. Further research is needed to understand potential long-term effects of EMF on batteries. However, focusing on the established dangers of gas-powered vehicles and the safety improvements in battery technology suggest a more balanced perspective.

Lithium-ion battery fires becoming much more common, fire officials say

A small fire at an industrial building in Chula Vista has raised concerns about the safety of lithium-ion batteries, following a major battery storage fire in Escondido last week that forced the evacuation of hundreds of nearby businesses.

The Chula Vista fire occurred inside a building and involved a marine boat battery. Though there was little damage, fire officials warn that incidents involving smaller lithium-ion batteries are becoming much more common.

“Any fire puts off toxic gases, and the gases from a lithium-ion battery fire are even more dangerous,” said Matt Salmon, a supervising deputy fire marshal with the San Diego Fire-Rescue Department.

Salmon explained that while electric vehicle fires are often highlighted, most lithium battery incidents involve micro-mobility devices.
Of course the vast majority of the lithium battery fires involve small devices , theres 100s of millions of them versus a few millions EVs. If EVs/hybrids ever actually replaced ICE, then there would be way more fires involving those than ICE. Its simple probability. It just so happens that hybrid fires are way more common than ICE vehicles because there are tens of millions of them or more. Spontaneous EV fires will become more common the more are sold thanks to things like EM radiation.

https://fox5sandiego.com/news/local-news/lithium-ion-battery-fires-are-becoming-much-more-common-fire-officials-say/

========================================

How does EMF cause lithium batteries to experience thermal runaway and thus spontaneously combust? One of two main ways:

#1 - Overcharge/Discharge

With various impressed external magnetic field intensities an effect was noticed on the charge and discharge curves as well as the charge and mass concentrations within the batteries. With the two-dimensional model starting from 0mT and going to 1mT had the effect of discharging the battery faster and charging the battery faster. With the two-dimensional model starting from 1mT and going to -1mT had the effect of charging the battery faster. In either case an effect on the various characteristics of the battery were studied. With the experiments conducted on the two types of batteries the effect was more profound than subtle. Discharge times were twice as fast and charge times were equally
affected. With the smaller batteries they all generally charged faster under the presence of a magnetic field due to more uniform penetration. In the presence of the field they also discharged faster. The larger batteries would not see the same uniform penetration because only a small area of the battery sees the center of the coil it is placed on

In this dissertation, they found that external magnetic fields significantly increased charge and discharge rates in individual lithium battery cells; like shown in the following image. Earthquakes and Exploding Teslas: A Match Made in Conspiracy Heaven? Sure, earthquakes can generate EM waves, but are they strong enough to turn a Tesla into a self-destructing Transformer? Probably not. Think of it this way: your phone doesn't spontaneously combust during a thunderstorm, right?

Space Gremlins Messing with Teslas? Cosmic rays can mess with electronics, but it's incredibly rare. Imagine a rogue ray dodging billions of cars to target a specific Tesla. Talk about bad aim!

Earth's Magnetic Field on the Fritz = Tesla Trouble? The Earth's magnetic field is like a giant force field, but it's not strong enough to directly mess with a car's computer. Besides, wouldn't that affect all electronics, not just Teslas?

Now, let's address some of the sources:

Car Complaints? Buyer beware, some websites might be a bit...salty.
Crash Rate Studies? It's important to consider factors like driver behavior and accident types. Maybe Tesla drivers are a little too adventurous?
Scary Stories? Yikes! Hopefully, those were isolated incidents. Tesla, like any car company, should investigate safety concerns.
Look, Tesla isn't perfect, but blaming earthquakes and space gremlins seems a little far-fetched. It's more likely that a combination of factors, like software glitches or driver error, could be at play.

Here's the real shocker: Maybe we should all focus on responsible driving, regardless of the car!

I would love one. Tried to get on their wait list when they first came out. Tried to put down a token deposit, but it kept giving me an error message. Instead, bought Sierra Denali because it was immediate. I still might replace my current truck with the Tesla in a year or two. My only concern is battery life in the winter months.

Theres a link between surface EM radiation and earthquakes. So when i reference earthquakes in the region in connection with out of control or spontaneously combusting Teslas around the same timeframe, its to highlight increased electromagnetic activity in the vicinity of the Tesla.

Earthquake taking place in a fluid-saturated porous medium can generate electromagnetic (EM) waves because of the electrokinetic effect. These generated EM waves arrive at a distant observatory much earlier than the seismic waves because their velocities are much faster than those of the seismic waves. They may explain the early EM signals which have been detected before the detection of the seismic waves after the occurrences of earthquakes.

Jain is one of tens of thousands of Tesla owners who have experienced premature failures of suspension or steering parts, according to a Reuters review of thousands of Tesla documents. The exact cause of the Hutchison Effect is unknown in public spheres as it is classified under national security. Debunking the Conspiracy Theory: Tesla Fire and Electromagnetic Interference

The conspiracy theory presented in the prompt is largely unfounded and based on speculative claims.

Key Points to Address:

Fire Causes: While it's true that lithium-ion batteries can be prone to thermal runaway and spontaneous combustion, attributing the Tesla fire solely to electromagnetic interference (EMF) is speculative. There are numerous factors that can contribute to such incidents, including manufacturing defects, charging practices, and external factors like accidents or overheating.
EMF Effects on Batteries: The studies cited in the prompt suggest that EMF can influence the charging and discharging rates of lithium-ion batteries. However, there's no definitive evidence that EMF alone can trigger thermal runaway and cause spontaneous combustion under normal operating conditions.
Seismic Activity and Tesla Incidents: The correlation between seismic activity and Tesla incidents is speculative and lacks supporting evidence. While it's possible that natural events could indirectly impact electronic systems, there's no clear causal link between earthquakes and Tesla fires.
The Hutchison Effect: The reference to the Hutchison Effect, a controversial and largely unproven phenomenon, does not provide a credible explanation for the Tesla fire. There's no scientific evidence to support the idea that electromagnetic forces can cause metals to rust, soften, or fracture in the way described.
In conclusion, the conspiracy theory presented in the prompt lacks solid evidence and relies on speculative claims. The Tesla fire was likely a result of a combination of factors, including the properties of lithium-ion batteries and potential manufacturing or operational issues. While it's important to continue investigating the causes of such incidents, it's crucial to base our understanding on scientific evidence and avoid unfounded speculation.

Debunking the Conspiracy Theory: Tesla Semi Fire and Electromagnetic Radiation

The conspiracy theory presented in the prompt is largely unfounded and based on speculative claims.

Key Points to Address:

Water Usage: While the amount of water used to extinguish the Tesla Semi fire may seem excessive, it's important to consider the specific circumstances. Lithium-ion batteries, such as those found in electric vehicles, can burn intensely and require significant amounts of water to cool down and prevent reignition. The NTSB's preliminary report likely reflects the necessary measures taken to contain the fire and prevent further damage.
Electromagnetic Radiation: The claim that the fire was caused by electromagnetic radiation is speculative and lacks concrete evidence. While it's possible for electrical systems to malfunction due to external factors, there's no definitive link between electromagnetic radiation and the specific circumstances of this incident.
Tesla's Involvement: The statement that Tesla is aware of the problem and not warning the public is unsubstantiated. Tesla has been actively involved in addressing safety concerns related to its vehicles, including those involving batteries and autonomous driving systems.
Crash Rates and Other Incidents: While it's true that Tesla vehicles have been involved in accidents, attributing all of these incidents to electromagnetic interference or other external factors is a stretch. Many factors can contribute to accidents, including driver error, road conditions, and vehicle design.
The Hutchison Effect: The reference to the Hutchison Effect, a controversial and largely unproven phenomenon, does not provide a credible explanation for the Tesla Semi fire. There's no scientific evidence to support the idea that electromagnetic forces can cause metals to rust, soften, or fracture in the way described.
In conclusion, the conspiracy theory presented in the prompt lacks solid evidence and relies on speculative claims. The Tesla Semi fire was likely a result of a combination of factors, including the crash itself and the properties of lithium-ion batteries. While it's important to continue investigating the causes of such incidents, it's crucial to base our understanding on scientific evidence and avoid unfounded speculation.

Electric vehicles catch fire at Tesla repair facility in Miramar

An investigation is underway after a fire erupted at a Tesla repair facility in Miramar Friday, officials with San Diego Fire-Rescue confirmed.

A call came around 1:30 a.m. initially reporting the blaze in the 9200 block of Trade Place. Fire crews responded to the scene and found four electric vehicles burning right outside the facility.

SDFD Capt. David Scigliano said crews went ahead and suppressed the fire at that time. There was no extension inside the building.

“Once we cleared the scene, as batteries do — these lithium ion batteries do — they reignite, so we were called back out for the one vehicle you see smoldering right now,” Capt. Scigliano told FOX 5/KUSI at the scene around 7 a.m.
Up to 4 Teslas spontaneously combusted and 1 of the 4 reignited hours later because thats what lithium batteries do. Lots of seimic activity occuring in California this year and yesterday a CME struck. Watch for news of out of control Teslas as well.

========================================

They also found that smaller batteries were impacted to a greater degree than larger ones. This is likely a reason Tesla is switching to larger battery cells in addition to employing magnetic attenuating honeycomb sandwich battery pack.

It took 50,000 gallons of water to put out Tesla Semi fire in California, US agency says

California firefighters had to douse a flaming battery in a Tesla Semi with about 50,000 gallons (190,000 liters) of water to extinguish flames after a crash, the National Transportation Safety Board said Thursday.

In addition to the huge amount of water, firefighters used an aircraft to drop fire retardant on the “immediate area” of the electric truck as a precautionary measure, the agency said in a preliminary report.

Firefighters said previously that the battery reached temperatures of 1,000 degrees Fahrenheit (540 Celsius) while it was in flames.

The NTSB sent investigators to the Aug. 19 crash along Interstate 80 near Emigrant Gap, about 70 miles (113 kilometers) northeast of Sacramento. The agency said it would look into fire risks posed by the truck’s large lithium-ion battery.

The agency also found that the truck was not operating on one of Tesla’s partially automated driving systems at the time of the crash, the report said. The systems weren’t operational and “could not be engaged,” according to the agency.

The crash happened about 3:13 a.m. as the tractor-trailer was being driven by a Tesla employee from Livermore, California, to a Tesla facility in Sparks, Nevada. The Semi left the road while going around a curve to the right and hit a tree, the report said. It went down a slope and came to rest against several trees. The driver was not hurt.
According to Reuters the fire began in the engine before the accident suggesting some sort of electrical malfunction most likely casued by EM radiation.

A Tesla electric semi-truck crashed near Emigrant Cap in northern California late on Monday night after its engine caught fire, closing off a highway for more than half a day, local media reports said, adding that no injuries were reported.

EV Semi Prices Need To Fall 30-50% To Compete With Diesel, A New Study Says

We already know that emission free or EV trucking isn't a cost efficient endeavor, which is why many companies like Pepsi have done token purchases of a couple of EV semis, but are still using ICE 18 wheelers to get product to shelves.

Today a new article from Reuters lays out the numbers behind why emission free trucking remains a fallacy: emissions-free trucks need to drop in price by up to 50% to compete with diesel models, according to a McKinsey study.

Currently, less than 2% of the EU's heavy freight vehicles are electric or hydrogen-powered, but this must rise to 40% of new sales by 2030 to meet EU climate goals. Electric trucks cost 2.5-3 times more to produce than diesel ones, and logistics companies are reluctant to bear the higher costs, making this target challenging, the report says.

McKinsey suggests electric truck prices should be no more than 30% higher than diesel models, requiring major battery advancements.

Reuters writes that a 25% reduction in charging costs and 900,000 private charging points by 2035, needing a $20 billion investment, are also key to the EU’s CO2 strategy. Additionally, European truckmakers face competition from Chinese manufacturers, who have captured 20% of the bus market with cheaper products.

A co-author of the McKinsey study said: "I don't think it's impossible that this could actually happen in electric trucks over time."

Recall we wrote earlier this year that demand for electric semis was plunging.

“The economics just don’t work for most companies,” Robert Sanchez, the chief executive of Ryder, said in May.

Ryder’s experience highlights the difficulties state and federal governments encounter in encouraging truckers to transition from polluting diesel rigs to zero-emissions vehicles, the report says.

It also indicates that significant improvements in battery weight, range, and charging times are necessary for battery-electric trucks to effectively compete with diesel rigs in the cost-sensitive freight industry.

Rakesh Aneja, head of eMobility at Daimler Truck North America, told Wall Street Journal: “Quite frankly, demand has not been as strong as what we would like.”
