Citrix Systems Names Arlen Shenkman Chief Financial Officer

Citrix Systems Inc. (CTXS) on Monday said it named Arlen Shenkman executive vice president and chief financial officer, effective Sept. 9.

The Fort Lauderdale, Fla., information-technology company said Mr. Shenkman joins from German software maker SAP SE (SAP), where he most recently served as executive vice president and global head of business development and ecosystems.

Mr. Shenkman, 49 years old, will receive an initial base salary of $575,000, target variable cash incentive compensation equal to 100% of his base pay, and a sign-on bonus of $500,000, the company said.

Citrix said Jessica Soisson, who has served as interim chief financial officer since the April resignation of Andrew Del Matto, will remain as corporate controller and chief accounting officer.
