Boston Private Wealth Promotes Tom Anderson to Chief Operating Officer and Shannon Saccocia to Chief Investment Officer

that it has named Shannon Saccocia as Chief Investment Officer
(CIO) of Boston Private Wealth, and Tom Anderson as Chief Operating
Officer (COO) of Boston Private Wealth. Ms. Saccocia most recently
served as Chief Investment Strategist, and Mr. Anderson previously
served in dual roles as CIO and COO.
As CIO, Ms. Saccocia will be responsible for setting the overall
investment policy at Boston Private Wealth, as well as directing
the firm’s investment strategy, research, portfolio management,
trading, asset allocation and investment risk management functions.
In her most recent role as Chief Investment Strategist, she worked
closely alongside Mr. Anderson to lead the Asset Allocation Group
at Boston Private Wealth, which is responsible for both strategic
and tactical asset allocation for the firm’s client portfolios.
Mr. Anderson initially took on COO duties at the beginning of
2018 and will now shift from his dual role to focus solely on COO
responsibilities, which include trust and client advisory services,
as well as business development initiatives for the entire firm.
Mr. Anderson also serves as National Head of Trust and Fiduciary
Services for the firm.
Both Ms. Saccocia and Mr. Anderson will report directly to Scott
Dell’Orfano, President of Boston Private Wealth.

Prior to joining Boston Private Wealth, Ms. Saccocia was
Director of Manager Search and Selection for Silver Bridge
Advisors, which was acquired by Banyan Partners in 2013. Boston
Private Wealth acquired Banyan Partners in 2014. Prior to joining
Silver Bridge, Ms. Saccocia worked at State Street Corporation,
providing performance and attribution analysis for institutional
investors. She holds a BA in Economics and History from Brandeis
University. She holds the Chartered Financial Analyst® designation
and is a Certified Investment Management AnalystSM professional.
She is a member of the CFA Society Boston, the CFA® Institute, and
the Investments & Wealth Institute.
Prior to joining Boston Private Wealth in 2011, Mr. Anderson was
head of a global strategy and research for the ETF business at
State Street Global Advisors. Additionally, Mr. Anderson led the
investment team for the Charitable Asset Management group at State
Street Global Advisors, with responsibility for setting asset
allocation strategy and managing charitable-gift portfolios for the
firm’s planned giving business. He holds a BA from Colgate
University and a MBA from Boston College. He holds the Chartered
Financial Analyst® designation and is a member of the CFA Society
Boston and the CFA® Institute.
