CINCINNATI, June 21, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Liona
Enterprises, Inc., a certified 8a/HUBZONE/EDWOSB/WOSB federal
government IT contractor, announced today that it was awarded a
U.S. General Services Administration (GSA), Multiple Award Schedule
(MAS) 070 contract, GS-35F-509GA. This long-term IT contract adds
Liona to a pre-approved list of technology companies for federal IT
related purchases, thereby simplifying the Agency procurement
process and ensuring government Agencies receive high-quality, cost
effective products and services.
Liona Enterprises is extending its partnership with MobileIron
(NASDAQ:MOBL), the security backbone for the multi-cloud
enterprise, to offer a comprehensive list of GSA-approved
MobileIron products. Agencies can now work with Liona Enterprises
to purchase all of MobileIron's enterprise mobility management
(EMM) products, including MobileIron Access to provide mobile
app-to-cloud security, MobileIron Bridge to manage Windows 10
devices, and Derived Credentials to support NIST 800-157.
"With MobileIron, we can provide a best-of-breed mobile and
cloud security platform for our government customers," said
Michelle Morales-Denisoff, CEO,
Liona Enterprises. "Our portfolio
now offers critical products to help Agencies successfully navigate
security for apps, cloud services, and devices."
"MobileIron customers include some of the most
security-conscious organizations in the world and we are committed
to meeting the sophisticated security requirements of our
government customers," said Jeffrey Ait, Vice President,
Public Sector, MobileIron. "MobileIron helps government
Agencies secure their mobile deployments and this partnership
further streamlines procurement."
This partnership follows MobileIron's recent Federal
certification announcements. MobileIron became the first
company in the world to receive Common Criteria
certification against Version 2.0 of the Mobile Device
Management Protection Profile (MDMPP V2.0 and MDMPP Agent V2.0)
from the National Information Assurance
Partnership (NIAP). The MobileIron Core platform
received Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG)
approval from the Defense Information Systems
Agency (DISA). MobileIron was also the only mobility
specialist to be recognized by Government CIO Outlook as one of
the Top 20 Homeland Security Solution Providers 2016.
