ChipMOS TECHNOLOGIES INC. (Taiwan Stock
Exchange: 8150 and NASDAQ: IMOS) ("ChipMOS") today
announced that due to the expected
release of pending material
information it has filed with
the Taiwan Stock Exchange and the Taiwan Stock Exchange has
approved to suspend the trading of the stock of ChipMOS on
November 30, 2016 (Taipei time) pursuant to the Taiwan Stock
Exchange Corporation Procedures for Verification and Disclosure of
Material Information of Companies with Listed
Securities. Therefore, the trading of ChipMOS stock will be
suspended when the market opens at 9:00
a.m., November 30, 2016
(Taipei time). ChipMOS currently plans to hold a press conference
before 5:00 pm, November 30, 2016 (Taipei time) (or 4:00
am, November 30, 2016, US
Eastern) to release the pending material information. After
the release of the material
information, ChipMOS will make an application with the Taiwan Stock
Exchange to resume the trading of
its stock on December 1, 2016 (Taipei time) pending the approval of
the Taiwan Stock Exchange. ChipMOS will make a separate public
announcement in Taiwan with
respect to the resumption of trading of its stock once the
application has been approved by the Taiwan Stock Exchange.
