Medicare Advantage plans in 2017 designed to help older adults get
and stay healthy, with an emphasis on preventive health measures
and with more benefits and services than Original Medicare.

During the 2017 Open Enrollment Period, which runs from
Oct. 15 - Dec. 7, 2016, those who are
Medicare eligible will be able to select WellCare plans that all
offer a $0 premium combined with
extra benefits beyond those offered by Original Medicare, including
some plans that offer hearing, vision and dental benefits.
In recognition of the importance of preventive and maintenance
care, WellCare Health Plan of New
Jersey's Medicare Advantage Plans also offer $0 lab tests and x-rays. For members with
diabetes, diabetic supplies also carry a $0 copay.
WellCare's Medicare Advantage Prescription Drug plan features a
unified national pharmacy network with key national retailers,
including CVS, Walgreens and Walmart. This simplified benefit
design allows traditional Medicare Advantage members to pay the
same cost share per medication at all network pharmacies.
Customer service representatives are available from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. EDT seven days a week to help
members with questions about their coverage and medications. In
addition, WellCare offers an online formulary tool for members and
those interested in its plans to look up drugs, coverage options

WellCare Medicare Advantage plans are available in four
New Jersey counties: Essex, Hudson, Middlesex and Passaic. The WellCare Liberty DSNP plan is
available in eight New Jersey
counties: Bergen, Essex, Hudson, Middlesex, Morris, Passaic, Somerset and Union.
As of June 30, 2016, WellCare
serves approximately 56,000 Medicaid members, 1,000 Medicare
Advantage members, 30,000 Medicare Prescription Drug Plan members
