On October 11, 2016, Charles F. (Tad) Geschickter, III, resigned from the Boards of Directors of Uwharrie Capital Corp and its subsidiary bank, Uwharrie Bank. His resignation is not due to any disagreement with Uwharrie Capital Corp or Uwharrie Bank or its operations, policies or practices.
