BANCOLOMBIA AND LEASING BANCOLOMBIA ANNOUNCE THE NON-OBJECTION OF THE SUPERINTENDENCE OF FINANCE OF COLOMBIA REGARDING THE MERGER PROCESS BETWEEN BOTH COMPANIES

 

 

 

Medellin, Colombia, September 19, 2016

 

 

Bancolombia and Leasing Bancolombia announce that the Superintendence of Finance of Colombia through the Resolution 1171 of September 16, 2016 declared its non-objection to the merger process pursuant to which Bancolombia will absorb its subsidiary Leasing Bancolombia Compañia de Financiamiento (absorbed company), which was announced to the public last June 20th, 2016.

 

After this announcement, the merger proposal will be presented to the shareholders of both companies for their approval at the Shareholders’ meetings called for September 20, 2016.
