Sales Representative Dale Williams
has reached 3 million consecutive, accident-free miles.
Additionally, Driver Sales Representatives Pete Griffin and Jimmy
Means have reached the 2 million mile mark, while
John Lewelling and Larry Proffitt have topped 1 million safe
miles.
The Knoxville Service Center has an exemplary safety record,
boasting not only Dale Williams as a
3 million mile driver, but also 10 drivers who have 2 million
consecutive, accident-free miles, and 30 more with 1 million miles,
for a remarkable total of over 53 million safe miles.
To put into perspective the 9 million combined, accident-free
miles logged by these five drivers, consider that it equates to
making the trip from Portland,
Maine to Portland, Oregon
2,823 times or 19 round-trips to the moon.

1987. He has twice placed 1st in the South Carolina
Truck Driving Championships and three times in the Tennessee Truck
Driving Championships. In 1998 he was a finalist for the American
Trucking Associations' industry safe-driving advocacy group,
America's Road Team.
