brokerage division of San
Francisco-based Menlo Logistics, announced today the
appointment of Gregory L. Orr as
president.
Orr previously was vice president of operations for Con-way
Multimodal. As president, he becomes responsible for leading the
Frisco, Texas-based company's
continued market growth and strategic development, directing
financial and operating performance and maximizing collaborative
business opportunities with other Con-way Inc. (NYSE:CNW)
transportation and logistics business units.
Con-way Multimodal is one of the transportation industry's
fastest-growing freight brokerage companies, managing shipper needs
for over-the-road, intermodal, flatbed, heavy-haul and specialized
transportation resources. In addition to the Frisco headquarters, the company has U.S.

Orr joined Con-way Multimodal in 2008 as vice president and
general manager at the company's Portland, Ore., operation. He has been
instrumental in developing and executing the company's strategies,
focused on customer, carrier and employee satisfaction, revenue
growth and margin expansion. He was promoted to vice president of
operations in 2010.
Previously, Orr worked with Greatwide Dedicated Transport in
Dallas, where he was vice
president of operations, overseeing 16 locations across
the United States. Prior to that,
he was vice president/account general manager at Schneider
Logistics. Orr also spent nine years in various management roles at
Wal-Mart Stores Inc. He holds a bachelor's degree in business
administration from the University of Southern
Indiana.
