Huron Consulting Group Adds Higher Education Strategy and Operations Expert

Huron Consulting Group (NASDAQ: HURN), a leading provider of
business consulting services, today announced that Peter Stokes has
joined the Company as a managing director in its Huron Education
practice focused on helping institutions diversify and implement
business processes to support growth, expansion and improve
financial performance.

the value they deliver while managing costs and growing revenue,”

Stokes has more than 20 years of higher education experience
working as both a teacher and administrator as well as a
consultant. Prior to joining Huron Education, he served as a vice
president for global strategy and business development at
Northeastern University in Boston. Stokes also held management
roles at Eduventures, a consulting firm offering research-driven,
evidence-based advisory services to higher education administrators
to improve the efficiency and efficacy of their management
practices.
At Huron Education, Stokes will work with the Strategy and
Operations service line providing strategic solutions to higher
education institutions and academic medical centers. He will advise
a university’s senior leadership on plans to support
differentiation, growth, expansion and improved performance. Stokes
holds a Ph.D. in English literature from Stony Brook
University.
