DEBARY, Fla., Sept. 8,
2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Cyber Kiosk Solutions, Inc. (OTC PINK: CYBK)
wholly owned subsidiary Cyber-Thingy, Inc. (Cyber) is pleased to
announce that it has created an entertainment division named "Green
Leaf Records", which headed by industry veteran Steven Machat, will be actively engaged in the
creation of entertainment projects and the signing of new musical
talent from around the world.
Cyber-Thingy, Inc., through Green Leaf Records, will own and/or
administer the recordings and the publishing of artists.
Division leader, Steven Machat, has
a tremendously successful and colorful history as a lawyer, record
label, manager, record and film producer and has worked with some
of the biggest acts in the music industry such as: Electric
Light Orchestra, Genesis with Phil
Collins and Peter Gabriel,
New Edition, Bobby Brown,
Leonard Cohen, Phil Spector, Acid Jazz Records, Hippos In
Tanks, Death Row Records with Snoop, Dazz and Kurupt.
Green Leaf Records' first Artist is Johnny Dread, a Cuban Reggae
Artist of huge social status currently residing in Miami. His music is now up for purchase on
over 300 digital outlets around the globe including iTunes and
Amazon. The hard copy CD called "Full Circle" is expected to be in
retail outlets before Thanksgiving
here in the States.
One of the strategies of Green Leaf Records is to connect songs
from their Artists to products to increase brand awareness which
will also help promote the Company's Artists. Using a song to brand
a product brings value through identity, engagement and reoccurring
currency. Music can help to establish an emotional connection with
a product which increases brand recognition and creates a catchy
buzz over and above the brand's core product. Green Leaf Records is
currently looking for a Champagne company or manufacturer that
would like to use Johnny Dread's song (Champagne) as their title
song to help brand their product.
Steven Machat states, "My sole
desire is to revitalize the music industry using technology and
techniques that exist today and will be adaptable for the future.
I enjoy touching people's lives through music and art and I
am excited about our pipeline of Artists that I expect to sign over
the next several weeks."
Within the next few weeks, Cyber-Thingy, Inc will be filing
restated Articles of Incorporation with the State of Florida to amend its name, change the
officers and directors and update the business address and
registered agent.
Due to the acquisition of EPA Petroleum, Inc. and to be more
reflective of its oil operations, Cyber Kiosk Solutions, Inc. will
file with FINRA to change the company name and symbol. In addition,
CYBK will file with FINRA to effect a spinoff of Cyber-Thingy,
Inc., to its shareholders no later than October 10, 2014. The anticipated ratio of
the Spinoff is 1 share of Cyber-Thingy for every 5 shares of CYBK
owned on the record date. The official record date will be
announced by the Company later in the week.
