professional driver, David Frazier,
surpassed the career milestone of driving 3 million consecutive,
accident-free miles. Frazier, who started with Con-way in 1987, is
the fourth of Con-way Freight's 15,000 drivers nationwide to reach
this safe-driving achievement. He joins the company's first 3
Million Miler, James "Jackpot" Sutfin of Las Vegas, Tom
Syme of Palatine, Ill. and
Tom Strissel of Mundelein, Ill. in this exclusive club.

Over its 30-year history, Con-way Freight has honored more than
200 of its drivers for surpassing 2 million safe driving miles, and
more than 1,600 who have achieved 1 million safe driving miles.
Frazier has previously been recognized for reaching the 1
million and 2 million mile safe-driving milestones as well as
receiving a 25-year safe-driving and safe-working award, signifying
a quarter-century without a workplace injury or accident. To put
the safe driving milestone into perspective,
3 million miles is the equivalent of 19,230 round trips from
Charlotte to Winston-Salem.

truck, and hopefully I can set a good example for the younger
drivers out there."
Frazier, a 28-year truck-driving veteran, lives in Kernersville, N.C.
