Wowza(R) Media Systems Joins Rackspace Marketplace to Provide End-to-End Live and On-Demand Media Streaming Solutions

Wowza(R) Media Systems, LLC, the leading provider of Simply Powerful
Streaming(TM) software, today announced that it has joined the Marketplace for
Rackspace(R) Hosting, (NYSE: RAX), the open cloud company. As part of the
Rackspace Marketplace, Wowza will provide a robust and comprehensive, yet
simplified and flexible, live and on-demand media streaming solution to
end-customers for streaming media to any device.


Through the new Works With Wowza(TM) partner program, the Wowza solution
provides customers with fully tested, vetted and integrated end-to-end streaming
components deployed on the Rackspace hybrid cloud platform for powerful,
reliable, flexible and scalable streaming to any device. Customers looking to
create a streaming solution can now take advantage of end-to-end guidance,
validation for specific components needed with Wowza Streaming Engine(TM)
software.
