Super Directories, Inc. Signs Memorandum of Understanding With
Galaxy Spectrum
MERRILL, N.Y., Oct. 22, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Super
Directories, Inc. (SDIR.PK) announced the execution of a memorandum
of understanding with Galaxy Spectrum Broadcast Production Systems
Corp ("Galaxy Spectrum") for the licensing of "sigCaster", a
portable video broadcast software and hardware solution developed
by Galaxy Spectrum.
Additionally, the sigCaster is designed as a robust IPTV
plug-n-play turnkey solution unit and needs next to no servicing or
maintenance in its routine usage for the consumer. The sigCaster
makes it possible for even the average non computer literate user
to provide near commercial quality live or on demand video
broadcasts at about twenty percent of the cost of competing
products.
The move is designed to create a multi-media website and
internet directory on the Superdirectories.com website while
allowing the company to further expand sales of the sigCaster into
other general usage market consisting primarily of education,
religious organizations, businesses and the NGO that currently have
a need to provide commercial quality live or on demand video
broadcasts at a significant savings.
Moreover, this segment has an expected 25% annual growth rate
and literally millions of potential customers. It's estimated that
up to ten thousand units can be sold monthly into this market at a
retail price of $249.95. Representing
close to $29,000,000 in annual
revenues for the company.
As part of the MOU, Galaxy Spectrum will continue to provide
continued sales support and consultation to the company. In each
geographic region, Galaxy Spectrum will put into place a network of
on-the-ground, experienced, and incentivized sales and marketing
personnel. These teams will build both direct customer
relationships and indirect channels (through systems integrators,
encoder-engine based manufacturers, etc.) It's also expected
that the initial project MOU will be expanded into a long-term
licensing agreement between the two companies for a period of 20
years.
Galaxy Spectrum will allocate resources to building partnerships
with indirect sales channels. The selection and usage of strategic
partners will allow the company to gain geographic reach,
credibility, and customers, which would not otherwise be possible.
Specific partner support programs will be put into place to ensure
cultivation of these partnerships.
In announcing the MOU, Super Directories, Inc. President,
Luke Lalonde stated, "In
partnering with Galaxy Spectrum we have joined a well experienced
group that has a demonstrated project record and in-depth knowledge
of the IPTV market and the relationship will serve Super
Directories as well as establish our presence in IPTV and
multi-media market segments. We look forward to expanding our
relationship with Galaxy Spectrum."
