                               Board Appointment


The Company today announces the appointment of Mr Martin Robert Orrell to the
Board as a Non-Executive Director.

Mr Orrell, aged 46, spent 26 years with The Royal Bank of Scotland plc where he
held a series of positions within the bank's lending, recovery and property
finance groups, culminating in his role as Corporate Director of the Real Estate
Finance Group. In 2000 he became Group Operations Director for the Global Switch
group (Global Switch Facilities Management Ltd), where he gained considerable
international experience in property management. In September of this year he
set up his consultancy business for the property and telecom sectors.
