DIRECTOR SHAREHOLDING

Global Energy Development PLC, the Latin America focused petroleum exploitation, development and production company (LSE-AIM: "GED") was notified on 13 October 2011 that on the same day David Quint, a director of the Company, purchased 10,000 ordinary shares of 1p each in the Company at 106p per share.

Following this purchase, Mr. Quint has a beneficial interest in 104,390 ordinary shares of 1p each in the Company representing 0.29% of the issued share capital of the Company.
