Thomas Group, Inc. (NasdaqGM:TGIS), a leading operational
consulting firm, announced that Lawrence Cotton Jr., Richard
DeMatteo, Duaine Goulding, Dale Howell, Scott Jones, Jeffrey
Laumbattus and Paul Weaver have joined the company as Resultants.
This Resultant class was announced during the October 2006 earnings
call. Known as The Results CompanySM, Irving-based Thomas Group
employs more than 100 process improvement experts (Resultants) for
client projects. Prospective Resultants undergo a rigorous
selection process, followed by intensive training on Thomas Group�s
proprietary process improvement methodology, Process Value
Management. Lawrence Cotton Jr. brings to Thomas Group more than 30
years of experience in the government defense industry. Cotton
joins Thomas Group from the United States Navy where he most
recently served as COO in the Commander Navy Region. He holds a
bachelor�s degree in political science from The University of North
Carolina at Chapel Hill. Cotton is a National Security Fellow
recipient, where he attended the Kennedy School of Government at
Harvard University for a year of advanced study. Richard DeMatteo
joins Thomas Group with experience in the industrial, medical and
automotive industries. DeMatteo most recently held the position of
Vice President/Asian Development for Sunrise Medical. He has held
positions with Danaher Corporation, Guide Corporation, Valeo
Sylvania and Watts Regulator. DeMatteo holds a bachelor�s degree
from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, Mich., and a
master�s degree from Indiana Wesleyan University in Keystone, Ind.
In joining Thomas Group, Duaine Goulding brings more than 20 years
of experience in the IT industry. He most recently held the
position of Program Director, Global Transformations with Computer
Sciences Corporation (CSC). Prior to that, Goulding served as
president of The Harbour Group. He has worked for such companies as
Spherion Technology, Ciber Inc., Computer Task Group Inc. and
S&A Restaurant Corp. Goulding holds a bachelor�s degree from
the University of Texas, Arlington and a master�s degree from the
University of Texas, Permian Basin. Thomas Group is pleased to
announce Dale Howell has joined the company. As a former senior
military manager, Howell�s background includes more than 20 years
of experience as a strategic consultant in defense management. He
has served as a Wing Commander with a Navy Helicopter Wing, as well
as a Squadron Commanding Officer. Howell holds a bachelor�s degree
from The University of Louisville and a master�s from Golden Gate
University. Scott Jones joins Thomas Group from SLJ Associates,
which he has owned and operated for more than 10 years. He has
worked for such companies as Stegner Foods, Golden Stream Quality
Foods, Vision Specialty Foods, Quaker Oats and Pioneer Frozen
Foods. Jones holds a bachelor�s degree in economics from The
University of Georgia in Athens. In joining Thomas Group, Jeffrey
Laumbattus brings more than 25 years of consulting experience to
the company. He most recently held the position of Principal
Consultant with Quest Fusion International Consulting. Prior to
that, he served as Business Unit Manager for The Highland Group.
From 1982 to 1989, Laumbattus served as Plant Manager for General
Motors in St. Louis, Mo. He holds a bachelor�s degree from Southern
Illinois University. Paul Weaver joins Thomas Group with more than
25 years experience in the consumer products, service and
industrial packaging industries. Weaver most recently held the
position of CFO/Interim General Manager for Granite Packaging.
Prior to that, Weaver served as CFO with Ogden Aviation. He has
held positions with Tyco Toys and Arthur Anderson. Weaver holds a
