So in typical bureaucratic fashion, it'll take several years to act on something that's common sense....
ohhhh wait ! That's exactly what we have in office right now !

Sweet !

Introduced in Senate (03/28/2023)

Setting Consumer Standards for Lithium-Ion Batteries Act

This bill requires the Consumer Product Safety Commission to issue a consumer product safety standard for rechargeable lithium-ion batteries used in micromobility devices, such as electric bicycles and scooters, to protect against the risk of fires.

Have you seen this?

I think KULR will see major trade interest when S.1008 (Setting Consumer Standards for Lithium-Ion Batteries Act) and Senate voting happens which may happen between February 12 and February 22, 2025, or early March if other legislation takes place before it but with recent battery fires and issues I think it will be voted in February.

The bill was first listed on the Legislative Calendar Dec 17, 2024 which if you look at trading of KULR, that was the start of the biggest upswing of KULR.

All in my opinion, but based on research.

Technology Group Inc. (KULR): Powering the Future of Sustainable Energy Management
Published on November 30, 2024 | Ticker: KULR
Business Overview and History

KULR Technology Group Inc. (KULR) is a global leader in advanced thermal management solutions, catering to a diverse range of industries, from aerospace and defense to electric vehicles and renewable energy. With a strong focus on safety, efficiency, and performance, KULR has established itself as a trusted partner for some of the world’s most demanding applications.

KULR Technology Group, Inc. was founded in 2013 with a focus on developing and commercializing high-performance thermal management technologies for electronics, batteries, and other components across a range of applications. The company initially targeted the aerospace and Department of Defense (DOD) markets, leveraging its expertise in thermal energy management solutions for space and military applications.

One of KULR’s early milestones was the development of a phase-change material heat sink designed to manage extreme thermal loads generated during mission-critical maneuvers for missile programs. This product helped establish KULR as a trusted provider of critical components for defense applications with multi-decade production runs.

Over the years, KULR has expanded its technology platform to address growing demands in the energy storage market. The company developed its Internal Short Circuit (ISC) battery cells and thermal runaway shield technology to enhance the safety of lithium-ion batteries. These innovations have been adopted by customers in the aerospace, electric vehicle, and consumer electronics industries.

Challenges for KULR have included navigating the complex regulatory environment for battery transportation and storage, as well as managing supply chain disruptions that impacted the availability of key materials. The company has worked closely with customers, partners, and industry groups to develop solutions that meet evolving safety standards and mitigate operational risks.

Despite these challenges, KULR has steadily grown its customer base and diversified its revenue streams. The company now offers a range of thermal management products, engineering services, and testing capabilities to support customers throughout the entire battery life cycle, from design to end-of-life management. This holistic approach has positioned KULR as a key player in the transition towards more sustainable energy solutions.

Over the years, KULR has expanded its expertise beyond thermal management, venturing into energy storage systems, battery recycling, and vibration reduction technologies. The company’s holistic approach, embodied in its KULR ONE Design Solutions (K1-DS) platform, allows it to provide comprehensive services and products that address the entire life cycle of energy storage solutions, from design and testing to transportation and recycling.

Financial Overview

KULR’s financial performance has showcased consistent growth and diversification in recent years. In the fiscal year 2023, the company reported an annual revenue of $9.83 million, a significant increase from the $3.99 million generated in 2022. This revenue growth can be attributed to the company’s successful expansion into new markets and the increasing demand for its advanced energy management solutions.

The company’s gross profit margin has also shown promising improvement, rising from 40% in 2023 to 45% in the first nine months of 2024. This reflects KULR’s ability to deliver high-value products and services while maintaining a strong focus on operational efficiency.

However, KULR has experienced recurring net losses, with a net loss of $23.69 million in 2023 and $12.90 million in the first nine months of 2024. The company’s cash used in operating activities has also remained high, at $11.97 million in 2023 and $12.50 million in the first nine months of 2024. These factors have contributed to a working capital deficit of $1.16 million as of September 30, 2024.

To address these challenges, KULR has implemented cost-cutting measures, streamlining its operations and reducing research and development expenses by 40% year-over-year in the first nine months of 2024. The company has also been actively pursuing new revenue streams, such as its recent $2.35 million licensing agreement for its KULR Xero Vibe technology, which is expected to contribute to improved profitability going forward.

In the most recent quarter (Q3 2024), KULR reported revenue of $3.19 million, representing a 5% increase from $3.04 million in Q3 2023. However, the company still recorded a net loss of $2.00 million for the quarter. Operating cash flow remained negative at -$3.30 million, while free cash flow was -$3.35 million.

It’s worth noting that KULR’s product sales revenue decreased by 60% in Q3 2024 compared to the prior year period, totaling $765,200. This decline was attributed to several expected orders being pushed out to future quarters. For the first nine months of 2024, product sales revenue was $2.52 million, down 54% year-over-year. Despite this, the company increased its product sales customer base to 47 in the first nine months of 2024, up from 29 in the same period of 2023.

On a positive note, KULR achieved record revenue of approximately $3.19 million in Q3 2024, representing a 5% increase from the same period last year. The company’s total paying customers for Q3 2024 increased by 83% compared to the same period last year. Additionally, engineering service revenue increased by 22% in Q3 2024 compared to the same period last year, with engineering service revenue customers increasing by 143%. Product revenue customers also saw a 54% increase in Q3 2024 compared to the same period last year. Importantly, KULR was able to achieve this growth while reducing operating expenses by 38% year-over-year.

Liquidity

KULR’s liquidity position remains a concern, as evidenced by its working capital deficit and high cash burn rate. The company’s ability to secure additional financing and manage its cash flow will be crucial for its long-term sustainability and growth. KULR has been exploring various options to improve its liquidity, including equity offerings, debt financing, and strategic partnerships. The successful execution of these initiatives will be essential in providing the company with the necessary resources to fund its operations and pursue growth opportunities.

As of the latest financial reports, KULR’s debt-to-equity ratio stands at 0.34, with total debt of $352,190 and total equity of -$2.18 million. The company’s cash position is $912,420, with a current ratio of 0.81 and a quick ratio of 0.71. Regulatory Compliance: As KULR’s solutions are deployed in safety-critical applications, the company must navigate a complex regulatory landscape and adhere to strict industry standards, which could impact its operational costs and timelines.

Supply Chain Disruptions: Disruptions in the global supply chain, such as those caused by the COVID-19 pandemic or geopolitical tensions, could disrupt KULR’s ability to source raw materials and components, thereby affecting its production and delivery schedules.

Liquidity and Profitability: KULR’s recurring net losses and high cash burn rate have resulted in a working capital deficit, which could limit the company’s ability to invest in growth initiatives and weather unexpected challenges.

To mitigate these risks, KULR is actively diversifying its customer base, strengthening its supply chain resilience, and exploring alternative financing options to bolster its liquidity. The company’s focus on operational efficiency and the successful execution of its strategic initiatives will be crucial in driving long-term profitability and sustainable growth.

Chinese are kicking our ass on AI technology and its cost. We better get our perverbial shit together or china will blow past us. Bitcoin is nice for a hedge but KULR and all other companies will hopefully be massively assisted by this current Administration to achieve greatness in this sector. I have no doubt that Trump Daddy is on top of this issue and will allow those who know to thrive and achieve full success on this front.

People need to understand we are at WAR with China just not shooting missles at each other yet. Time for DEI and all the other useless Country killing shit to stop so we can focus on priorities instead.
