The fourth iteration of The Sandbox’s marquee
event will be a 10-week journey of over 100 experiences featuring
forty popular brands and a substantial reward pool worth over USD
$2.5 million*
The Sandbox, a leading immersive metaverse platform and a

highly-anticipated Alpha Season 4 will officially launch on
October 9, 2024 at 12PM UTC. Spanning 10 weeks, the in-platform
event will feature over 100 unique experiences, 50 hours of new
gameplay, collaborations with 40 brands and IPs alongside
user-generated content. Additionally, The Sandbox revealed a
reward pool exceeding $2.5 million USD in value, paid out in
SAND, the platform's native token.

This year’s theme invites participants on an intergalactic
journey, showcasing a record number of experiences from The
Sandbox’s global creator community, a major step in the platform’s
mission to empower creators. With experiences produced by partner
studios based in the United States, France, Hong Kong, Taiwan,
China, India (including Bollywood), Japan, Korea, and Thailand,
players will tackle quests and challenges across 10 unique planets
as part of the season’s space theme, each offering a diverse mix of
art, culture, entertainment, fashion, gaming, lifestyle, music, and
sports.
Alpha Season 4’s lineup features experiences from some of the
largest global brands and IPs, including Gordon Ramsay’s Hell’s
Kitchen, Attack on Titan, ITV’s Love Island and The Voice,
Lionsgate’s Hellboy (2019), Playboy, Ubisoft’s Captain Laserhawk,
Otherworld, Cut the Rope, Complex, The Smurfs, Care Bears, and
Warner Music. Alpha Season 4 will also unveil new partners to The
Sandbox including SkyDance’s Terminator Dark Fate, Chupa Chups, and
other new names that will be announced throughout the event.
Alpha Season 4 will also include musical guests throughout the
event, with artists Galantis, Jamiroquai, and BLOND:ISH being
hosted in The Sandbox’s virtual music club, Club XYZ.

New experiences will be progressively released throughout the
season, meaning players will access new experiences, complete
quests, and earn exclusive rewards each day. As has been the case
in past seasons, Ethos Points (EP) will act as the point system in
Alpha Season 4. Players will earn EP by completing in-game quests
of varying scope and difficulty, as well as by participating in
daily social challenges and referring friends. The Sandbox’s
substantial avatar and LAND owner community will also gain unique
benefits within the season.
Each player will have the chance to be rewarded with over
1,400 SAND and 170+ NFTs during Alpha Season 4.
Participants will be able to earn SAND via the free tier of the
season’s battle pass progression system, while those who obtain the
premium Alpha Pass (available via weekly leaderboard raffles and
via purchase) will grant additional SAND rewards as well as bonus
NFTs. A season-exclusive wearable Space Helmet NFT will also be
available to claim for free for both new and existing players.
New users can create an account in The Sandbox and download its
game client for free to participate in Alpha Season 4. Ahead of the
launch, players are invited to reserve their spot at
