(NYSE: OC) today announced that John D.
Williams, President and Chief Executive Officer of Domtar
Corporation (NYSE: UFS) (TSX: UFS), has been elected to the
company's Board of Directors effective Nov.
30, 2011. Headquartered in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, Domtar is one of the
world's largest integrated manufacturers and marketers of uncoated
freesheet paper, and a leading manufacturer and marketer of pulp in
North America.

Mr. Williams has served as President and Chief Executive
Officer, and a director of Domtar since joining the company in
2009. From 2000 to 2008, Mr. Williams served in senior executive
positions with SCA Packaging Ltd. and SCA Packaging Europe, among
Europe's largest producers of
containerboard paper used for the manufacturing of corrugated box
products. During this period, he served as president of SCA
Packaging Europe, from 2005 to 2008, and as regional managing
director for the company's U.K. and Ireland operations from 2000 to 2004. Prior to
joining SCA Packaging, Mr. Williams held a number of increasingly
senior positions in sales, marketing, management and operations
with Rexam PLC; Packaging Resources, Inc.; Huhtamaki; Alberto Culver (U.K.) Ltd.; and MARS Group.
Mr. Williams was named to the Audit and Finance committees of
the Owens Corning Board of Directors.
