Duration Income Fund (NYSE Amex: EVV), a closed-end management
investment company, today declared a monthly distribution of
$0.1042 per common share. As
portfolio and market conditions change, the rate of future
distributions may change. The distribution is expected to be
paid on October 20, 2011, to
shareholders of record on October 13,
2011. The ex-dividend date is October 11, 2011.
At this time the Fund believes that a portion of the October
distribution may be comprised of amounts from sources other than
net investment income. If that is the case, you will be
notified in writing. Further information will be available

final determination of tax characteristics of the Fund's
distributions will occur after the end of the year, at which time
