Pompano Beach, FL, October 2, 2013. Cyclone Power Technologies (OTCQB: CYPW) announced that it has received notice of patent approval in Russia for its waste energy recycling engine known as the WHE[C].  This is Cyclone's second patent in Russia and 33rd overall patent for its all-fuel green engine technology.

The WHE is designed for distributed waste-to-power systems that can be located directly at the site of both waste generation and power requirements. This compact and scalable engine converts heat - typically exhausted and wasted from furnaces, methane flares, incinerators, gasifiers and other devices - into power that can run electric generators, water pumps and compressors. Cyclone is actively pursuing plans to commercialize the WHE, which includes a key development partnership with Ohio State University.

"This patent in Russia comes at an excellent time for Cyclone and its shareholders as we prepare for production and seek strategic business opportunities worldwide for these engines. We believe that Cyclone can position the WHE to be a dominant product for the global micro-grid waste-to-power market in the coming years, and protecting the proprietary nature of our technology is important to this long-term strategy," stated Christopher Nelson, President of Cyclone and Managing Director of the company's WHE division.
