Ridgefield Park, NJ - (NewMediaWire) - November 30, 2022 - LIFEQUEST WORLD CORP (LQWC) is focused on innovative, decentralized, scalable wastewater treatment and reuse technologies. Through its wholly owned subsidiary, Biopipe India Private Limited, the Company is concurrently pursuing both industrial (ETP) and sewage wastewater treatment (STP) markets.
Tanmay Pawale, the CEO of Biopipe India Private Limited, stated that, “Biopipe has secured an order from a renowned multi-specialty hospital in Nashik, India. India is rapidly moving towards decentralized sewage treatment systems and for the past year and a half we have been working to establish a foothold in the decentralized wastewater treatment market for hospitals. Biopipe stands out against competition in terms of space and energy savings, no odor, no sludge and quality of treated wastewater. The small footprint of the Biopipe STP allowed the hospital to free up space to accommodate other utility systems in the allotted area.”
Enes Kutluca, the CEO of Biopipe Global Corp, stated that, “It has been observed that the intrinsic toxicity of hospital effluents could be 5 to15 times more than an urban effluent. Hospital sewage/wastewater can contaminate surface and ground water with a variety of potentially harmful substances, posing significant risks to people and the environment. Hospital sewage wastewater treatment is therefore essential. Biopipe systems is the best suited sewage treatment plant for hospitals in urban settings where onsite treatment is the only option.”

$LQWC Lifequest’s First Build Own Operate 200-300m3/day Capacity Abattoir Wastewater Treatment Plant in South Africa is Fully Operational and Expected to Generate Approximately $1.5 Million EBITDA in the First 10 Years of 10+10 Year Agreement
Press Release | 01/06/2022
RIDGEFIELD PARK, NEW JERSEY, Jan. 06, 2022 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- via NewMediaWire -- LIFEQUEST WORLD CORP (LQWC) is focused on innovative, scalable and disruptive decentralized wastewater treatment and reuse technologies. Our subsidiary in South Africa is engaged in Water-as-a-Service (WaaS) involving treatment of industrial and sewage wastewater. The current plant at a major beef processor involves a Water-as-a-Service (WaaS) agreement for 10 years with automatic renewal for 10 additional years. Under this Agreement the client pays a service fee for every cubic meter of treated water.
Pieter Jansen, the CEO of our subsidiary, said, “We are absolutely delighted to get our first WaaS plant producing clean reusable water and solids that are being fed to a biogas plant. Our client is a vertically integrated beef processor and keenly interested in reusing every drop of water. The plant has successfully delivered the required quality of water with a Turbidity of 2.38 NTU’s and less (potable water is between 1 and <5). The plant is operating effectively and efficiently as designed and has shown the capability to exceed the required average daily discharge volumes and to deal with the expected variability in discharge quality of wastewater typical of such applications that conventional treatment processes tend to struggle with. The client is currently processing 450 cattle heads per day and we are working on a plan to increase the capacity of the plant.”
Max Khan, the CEO of Lifequest, said, “We pivoted towards WaaS model due to challenging capital investment environment for government and commercial clients and disruptions from Covid-19. Corporate customers are aggressively investing in sustainability and reuse of wastewater has become inevitable due to water stress around the world. All our WaaS agreements will have minimum take or pay clauses and offered only to credit worthy clients with long operating histories in order to reduce counter party default risk. We have utmost confidence in the treatment capabilities of our technologies. We have additional plants in the pipeline and we are completing the technical due diligence to invest in a 900m3/day plant for a major dairy producer. IRRs and ROI remain very attractive and we are in discussions with potential investors for non-dilutive project finance debt to fund additional plants. Our current business plan is adequately funded.”

$LQWC Lifequest Subsidiary, Biopipe, Successfully Demonstrates the Treatment and Reuse of Sewage Wastewater for the Third Largest Municipality in Turkey and Enters Into Commercial Discussions
Press Release | 07/28/2021
RIDGEFIELD PARK, NEW JERSEY, July 28, 2021 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- via NewMediaWire -- LIFEQUEST WORLD CORP (LQWC) subsidiary, Biopipe Global has developed the world’s only highly scalable onsite sludge and chemical free sewage wastewater treatment technology. The Company installed a 30m3 (7,900 gallons)/day Biopipe plant at a large sewage wastewater treatment facility in Izmir and successfully demonstrated that the plant can not only exceed the discharge standards, but also produce water that can be reused for irrigation. The plant has been running for well over three months and all independent tests were carried out by the municipality.
Mr. Enes Kutluca, CEO, said, "Turkey is already water stressed and more recently, the entire world witnessed the spread of sea snot in the Sea of Marmara due to dumping of wastewater into the sea. In Istanbul more than 70% of the wastewater dumped into the sea is only pre-treated or untreated. Municipalities are under pressure to recycle and reuse at least 5% of their wastewater and are increasingly looking to efficient onsite treatment solutions and are generally unhappy with current packaged treatment systems. We began working with Izmir municipality earlier this year and they are extremely pleased and surprised at the treatment efficiencies we have achieved and the potential reuse of treated wastewater for irrigation. We are working to further augment our treatment process so the treated water can be discharged into the sea. The municipality has identified at least 80 potential sites where Biopipe can be installed and we are now working on a Build Own Transfer (BOT) model with 10 to 15 year concession period. Considering the fact that the Municipality currently pays $0.66/m3 for water, we can clearly demonstrate not only the environmental benefits but also net savings from a Biopipe plant. Our goal is to eventually take our solution to all other municipalities in Turkey. This is a major stepping stone for us in Turkey.”

$LQWC Lifequest Signs Letter of Intent with Aquity (Pty) Ltd. to Pursue Build Own Operate and Build Own Lease Transfer and Water-as-a-Service Wastewater Treatment Plants
Press Release | 04/08/2021
Lifequest Will Own a Majority Stake in Aquity and Arrange Project Finance to Build a Portfolio of Plants Yielding Long-Term Cash Flow
RIDGEFIELD PARK, NJ, April 08, 2021 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- via NewMediaWire – LIFEQUEST WORLD CORP (LQWC) is focused on innovative, scalable and disruptive decentralized wastewater treatment and reuse technologies. Pursuant to the LOI, the Company will acquire a majority equity interest in Aquity and provide project financing to pursue build own operate (BOO), build own lease transfer (BOLT) and Water-as-a-Service (WaaS) plants in South Africa. Such plants are either evergreen (perpetual) or have minimum 10-year concessions and 7-year lease and expected to yield stable cash flow over a long period with equity IRRs in excess of 25%. The global growth of modular, distributed (onsite) wastewater plants is expected to rise to $21.8 billion in 2021. Of the $21.8 billion, $9.1 billion is forecast to be purchased by municipal wastewater, $8.4 billion by industrial wastewater and $4.4 billion for municipal drinking water.
Mr. Max Khan, CEO, said, "With decentralized systems becoming a viable option, governments and corporations are increasingly turning to BOO, BOLT and WaaS models. This asset class is now attracting private equity and impact investors seeking stable cash flow. We have an opportunity to build a portfolio of such plants over the next 18 months in the countries we operate in. We are pursuing several project debt financing options in order to execute the projects in the pipeline. Aquity has complete design, engineering, procurement, construction, operation and maintenance capability and has an agreement in place to do the first BOO plant. It is a 10+10-year abattoir wastewater treatment-as-a-service agreement with one of South Africa’s premier beef producers. The plant is expected to generate circa $3.5 million in free cash flow over twenty years. Lifequest is expected to arrange the debt financing along with its shares of equity capital.”
