Global Payment Technologies, Inc. GPT qualifies for this exemption because it has fewer than 300 record holders. The Company will not be subject to filing Forms 8-K, 10-Q, 10-K or proxy statements and its directors, executive officers and certain beneficial owners can cease being subject to filing Forms 3, 4 and 5 and Schedules 13-G and 13-D.

Corporate and financial information will still be available at the Companys web site www.gptworld.com.

Andre Soussa, Chairman and CEO of Global Payment stated, This is a voluntary move by GPT as part of its restructuring program and is simply aimed at maximizing our dollars to benefit the company and its shareholders. GPT will continue to have its shares traded, but in this global economic downturn, it makes every sense to take a pre-emptive measure and make use of all funding where it counts. The cost of the yearend audit, compliance with Sarbanes Oxley and other expenses related to staying current with filings to the SEC exceeds the benefits derived by GPT and its shareholders at this time. It is our intention to continue to report our financial results and to provide periodic information through press releases to keep our shareholders informed. We will continue to evaluate the costs and benefits of remaining on the Pink Sheets and may choose to return to the Bulletin Board at the appropriate time. GPT continues to make progress in its restructure including the successful launch of its new product the NOVA Black which was introduced at the Las Vegas Gaming Show, G2E in November and is targeted to the gaming market.
