Let's review:
There are a little over 19 million short shares. That represents approximately $105 million at the current share price.
Every $1 the SP goes up represents a $19 million decrease in potential profit for the short position.
The exposure on a short position is unlimit

The Teoxane products have been selling pretty well. I can't see them wanting to change and disrupt those sales while they transition. The Change of Control provision gives Teoxane negotiating leverage. How they exploit this leverage, if at all, remains to be seen.
