As part of this program, iGATE Patni's in-house band – 'Rubberband' delivers a LIVE musical performance every Monday afternoon at their Bangalore centre.

Limca Book of Records has recognised this initiative as the longest running corporate show for five years in a row thus creating a first-of-its-kind record. iGATE Patni's record will feature in the 2012 edition of the Limca Book of Records.

The initiative, a brainchild of iGATE Patni's Employee Engagement team, aims at driving away Monday blues and creating a spirited workplace on the first day of the week. The Company's employee-led 'Rubberband' first performed on November 6, 2006 with seven employees and now comprises of more than 30 members who churn out LIVE musical numbers during the lunch hour for their colleagues every Monday.

The Band also composes original sound tracks and has been invited to perform at theatres and prestigious inter-corporate events.
