The cumulative average return stands at a minus 0.789 percent. Possibly an impact of the strong euro, Germany's October trade surplus fell more than expected from September, as exports dropped sharply while imports remained sluggish. The trade surplus decreased to euro 10.8 billion from euro 14.3 billion in September, below the euro 13.0 billion surplus economists had forecast. For a historical perspective, in October 2002, the trade surplus stood at euro 11.5 billion. Not much planned either on the economic calendar or the earning front today. Before the market open, the Mortgage Bankers' Association (MBA) Refinancing Index will be released. In the prior week, the index suffered a 19.6 percent decline. Released earlier this morning, the MBA refinancing index dropped for a second consecutive week, this time by 15.5 percent in the most recent week.
