Eni Executive Takes Leave of Absence Amid Corruption Allegations -Reuters

--Eni's chief development operations and technology officer,
Roberto Casula, has taken a leave of absence from the Italian oil
major as he faces multiple corruption probes, Reuters reports.
--According to Reuters, Mr. Casula was a former head of Africa
operations at Eni and has been questioned by Italian prosecutors in
relation to alleged corruption in the Congo Republic.
--Reuters says Mr. Casula is also one of several defendants,
including Eni's CEO, who are set to stand trial next month over
alleged corruption in Nigeria linked to Eni and Shell's 2011
purchase of the OPL-245 offshore oil field.
