WALNUT, Calif., June 6, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Sunvalley Solar, Inc. (OTCQB: SSOL), a leading
provider of solar power technology and solar integration systems,
announced that it has signed a 336 Kilowatt commercial solar
installation contract with Diamond Wipes International Inc. in
Chino, California.
"This is really a remarkable contract for Sunvalley Solar, not only because of the large
system size, but because it is also the first commercial solar
power system installation contract we've signed in the Los Angeles area in 2011. Our sales team
continues to develop new contracts in the LA market and currently
we are quoting installation dates through 2012. In an effort to
decrease our customers' wait time and increase our revenue we are
enlarging our installation work force through new hires,
subcontracts and partnerships with other solar installation
companies. With this new strategy we expect to complete the
majority of projects in 2011 rather than 2012," said James Zhang, CEO of Sunvalley Solar.
The 336 Kilowatt solar power system is comprised of 3360 solar
panels from Tianwei Solarfilms and two solar inverters from PV
Powered. The total contracted value is approximately $1.5M.
The contracted solar system is expected to generate 547,696
Kilowatt hours of electricity annually. During the peak months of
May through October the system will generate surplus power and earn
credits with the utility company, to offset the less sunny winter
months.
The installation for this 336 Kilowatt system will begin in
July 2011.
