Trubiquity, a leading provider of global Managed File Transfer (MFT) and business process integration solutions, has acquired the assets of NexPrise, a leading provider of cloud-based Enterprise Content Management (ECM), collaboration and process automation solutions. The acquisition includes substantially all of NexPrise’s assets, customers and business operations, including the WebSpace and InfoPrise product lines, and adds a California office to Trubiquity’s locations in the United States, Germany and the United Kingdom.
“The combination of NexPrise and the Trubiquity suite of solutions will deliver incredible benefits for our combined customers and partners as we strive to deliver innovative solutions to the marketplace,” said Stephen Koons, Chief Executive Officer at Trubiquity. “The WebSpace enterprise content management solution has tremendous market potential in the software-as-a-service business segment, and our customers will truly appreciate the range of flexible, scalable cloud computing offerings from the combined solutions.”
NexPrise, through its WebSpace ECM solution, helps companies manage critical documents, automate business processes and collaborate securely with remote partners, customers and suppliers. The acquisition marks a strategic move by Trubiquity to offer a comprehensive SaaS solution that will integrate with on-premise Managed File Transfer (MFT) solutions including collaboration tools, data exchange services, ERP and large PLM systems.
“We are excited to join the Trubiquity team and contribute our ECM expertise to their already strong slate of MFT and business process automation solutions,” said Ted Lesher, Vice President of Sales at NexPrise. “The integration of WebSpace into Trubiquity’s solution lines puts us in a unique position to do some amazing things with cloud-based managed file transfer.”
