"This is not to be mistaken for not being able to trade. It will reduce the securities in question to the conditions that always applied to the Expert Market and any Caveat Emptor-designated stocks. The hard part will be to find a broker that will still permit retail investors to buy. Most of them will only allow selling. This of course raises the question, who the buyers are. As far as I know, a few international brokers still allow access to these sectors. Beyond that, buying is limited to stock market professionals, which is hardly equitable access. IMO, itβs also more patronizing than protective. It also allows the pros to pick up the freebies. Since itβs your shirt to lose, it should also be your decision."

To my knowledge, no suspensions were ever intended. There wonβt be any Cease Trade orders. The 15c2-11 will result in βunsolicited quotesβ, which means, OTC Markets wonβt display them, nor will there be any Market Maker activity. This is not to be mistaken for not being able to trade.
