A Maple Grove man has pleaded guilty to fraudulently obtaining more than $1.7 million from the COVID-19 Paycheck Protection Program and using it to, among other things, pay off debts and install a backyard pool at his home.

Aditya Sharma, 47, was the founder and CEO of cloud-based software company Crosscode Inc., but was removed as an officer and fired from the company by its board of directors in November 2019, before the pandemic started.

Despite this, the U.S. Attorney of Minnesota says Sharma created three separate tech companies – Kloudgaze Inc., Neoforma LLC, and Mokume LLC. – and between April and August 2020 applied for more than $9.6 million in loans through the U.S. Small Business Administration’s Paycheck Protection Program from 10 different lenders.

He did this by submitting "false and fraudulent applications" under the names of his tech companies, submitting fabricated supporting records and making false claims about the number of employees he had and payroll expenses he'd incurred.


This includes claiming he had 29 workers on his Kloudgaze payroll, despite documents showing he paid no wages to a single employee.

Of the money he applied for, he was approved for three PPP applications, receiving $1,773,600 in PPP funds in total.

This month, the U.S. Attorney says, was used to "pay off unrelated legal debts, fund new business ventures, transfer approximately $14,000 to a financial account in India, and pay for home improvements, including landscaping and the installation of a $64,300 backyard pool at his residence."


Almost $675,000 of the money was seized by law enforcement and will be forfeited. Sharma pleaded guilty in federal court on Wednesday, and is now awaiting sentencing.

Prosecutors said that Sharma used the money to pay off unrelated legal debts, fund new business ventures and transferred about $14,000 to an account in India.

Who is we? The "company" has shown no revenue in every quarterly report since 2021. The PPS sits at .003 after all these years, and basically no one can buy shares if they wanted to. There are three warnings from the OTC including the very serious "buyer beware". How delusional does one have to be to have positive thoughts about this stock? Also, no one is flipping this stock because basically no one can buy shares, so I don't know why you asserted that nonsense. If the truth (or as you like to call it bashing) about this stock hurts, deal with it.

Well someone bashes all the time has said mcic is dead for almost 15 years yet we make money and mcic stays alive after all this time me I own so that’s why I’m positive care to tell board why you negative all the time


Flipping maybe

The pushers have said, around 20 times between them, that 2025 is MCIC's year. Therefore, the CE warning would have to be lifted in 6 months or less for MCIC to prosper this year. If that doesn't happen, we have another "the glove sales are real" nonsense from the self-proclaimed "honest" pusher. One and a half years later and no revenue from these alleged glove sales have shown up on any of the quarterly reports.

TXTM is the latest pink to have the CE removed ..........took almost 3 years to accomplish that...............

It doesn't matter who has Ben's shares. What Ben had was just a shell and Ben not having control over the company going forward means that the merging company is big which is good for the shareholders, unless otherwise the new management slaps huge RS and destroys the shareholders like us.
