Perhaps Georgejjl means that patients were allowed to stay on co-administered SOC. As I recall Missling did at one point say that most patients did indeed continue on Donepezil etc. during the P2b/3 trial.

I would love to know if A2-73 and DZP together is any different than A2-73 without DZP.

DZP of course is likely to represented in both the placebo and drug arms in similar proportions, so subgroup analysis specifically comparing patients on DZP or not would need to be done.
