Sao Tome is much deeper, and much harder well to design for... Without Kosmos Energy and Shell helping GALP, the JACA well would not have been drilled..

Galp has an excellent track record for new discoveries for example the Mopane discovery in Namibia's PEL 83. The Mopane oil field is estimated to be10 billion barrels. Currently several deep pocketed oil company including XOM, CXR, Shell and TOT are reviewing the drilling results to bid on Galp's offer to partner with 40% of the Mopane field and the PEL 83 block which contains several unexplored structures.

In addition, they have been very active off the coast of Brazil.

IMO the biggest "problem" Galp has with EEZ block 6 is the energy and expense of the Mopane field. Hopefully when they sign a partner {estimates are as high as 20 billion dollars for 40% of the block} they will focus on EEZ block 6..

If positive news develops on ERHE, then there will likely be two possible outcomes (IMHO):

1) News comes out of an outright buyout of ERHE. In this case, no worries on your shares. Those shares will be replaced with $ in your account on transaction date.

2) ERHE could actually file to become compliant again. IMHO, only reason to do this is if some positive event is imminent. If they filed to become current, your shares would become tradable in your account.

While I would like to see an $8 sp...it will not happen. First I do not believe in the delirious short squeeze nonsense. Then those with hundreds of millions of shares will swamp the market if there is ever positive news that would ordinarily help the sp. I'm guessing they are so far underwater they have to try to unload at a price that they can at least break even. It wouldn't surprise me if some are $100,000 + underwater. Maybe $200,000.?? That will necessitate getting others to wait so they can get the best price possible. As I said there is probably lots of money at state here so there will be no waiting for a fictional $8 sp. The 3-4 day required wait is to give someone with kazillions of shares time to unload before the rest. Great plan if you can get others to buy in. When it's all done they will go 'Oh sorry...you shouldn't have believed that story....you should have sold like me'.
