Application re: GBP Quote and capability to receive future dividends in GBP Sterling

The Board of Tufton Oceanic Assets Limited (ticker: SHIP.L) is pleased to announce that it has applied to introduce an additional market quote for the Company's shares on the London Stock Exchange denominated in GBP Sterling (the "GBP Quote"). The GBP Quote will appear alongside the Company's existing US Dollar market quote (the "USD Quote") and there will be no changes to the legal form or nature of the Company's shares nor to the reporting currency of the Company's financial statements (which will remain in US Dollars).

The Company's existing ticker, ISIN and SEDOL will remain unchanged. However, in connection with the GBP Quote the Company will introduce a new ticker and SEDOL with effect from 8.00 a.m. on 1 July 2022, as set out below.

In addition, in the future the GBP Sterling equivalent of the US Dollar net asset value per share will be presented for information purposes only alongside the US Dollar net asset value per share, at the USD:GBP spot rate on the close of business on the net asset value calculation date.

Dividend Currency Election

In light of the Company's application for the GBP Quote, the Board also announces that future dividends (including the Company's Q2 2022 dividend) will be capable of being paid in GBP Sterling, rather than US Dollars, provided that the relevant shareholder has registered to receive their dividend in GBP Sterling under the Company's Dividend Currency Election.

A copy of the Dividend Currency Election form, which should be sent to Computershare Investor Services plc, The Pavilions, Bridgwater Road, Bristol, BS99 6BD when completed, will shortly be available on the Company's website at http://www.tuftonoceanicassets.com/company-documents/ . The Dividend Currency Election Form should only be completed by shareholders who hold shares in certificated form. CREST shareholders must elect via CREST.
