           Clean Diesel Technologies, Inc. First Quarter 2008 Results
                     and Conference Call to be Held May 13

Stamford, CT- May 8, 2008 - Clean Diesel Technologies, Inc. (NASDAQ:CDTI; XETRA:
CDIA; AIM:CDT), the cleantech emissions reduction company, will announce its
first quarter financial results on Tuesday, May 13 at 7:00 AM Eastern Time (12:
00 BST & 13:00 CET).



The announcement will be followed by a conference call at 10:00 a.m. ET on
