President Trump nominated Bill Pulte as the next director of the
Federal Housing Finance Agency (FHFA). Pulte, a private equity
executive, is the grandson of William J. Pulte, founder of the
PulteGroup, which is one of the largest homebuilders in America.

The Senate Finance and Banking Committee will schedule
his confirmation hearing in the coming weeks.

The Senate confirmed the nomination of Scott Bessent to be
Secretary of Treasury, by a vote of 68 to 29.

Scott Turner’s nomination to be HUD Secretary is pending a
vote in the full Senate.

These political decisions by Trump have nothing directly to do with F&F. As long as Bessent and Pulte don't say anything negative about the release, the hope for big profits will be stronger.
