NM is right below GLB$ for tomorrows action. I would venture to say this is going to hit $5.00 tomorrow if not tomorrow definitely Wednesday.

ST - My thinking is that the underlying reasons for a company's shares to go lower are seldom corrected by using a reverse split. If anything it just gives shorts more runway to drive the pps lower after the split. NM needs to fix its balance sheet.

I think that is a good observation, that works for you and you're observing the chart today in its current format. At the time I was looking at the chart before it got corrected for a reverse split. Once the chart was corrected the structure of the chart changed. Recently I noticed that it didn't matter if the stocks had reverse splits and big gaps up or not for my techniques. So it is sort of like 'another hidden market' for the uncorrected split charts in a way. Perhaps this is where the short squeezes are from. So I am also looking at everything again for charts without splits corrected in the price for more opportunities since it works too that way.

On the same sort of things I also noticed with my picks that the chart patterns people use for normal standard charts seem to work on log charts also. This implies that people sell way too soon on buys perhaps and the real price forecasts are much larger than expected. Checking that out as well.

Don't know if this is a good price to buy in here. Waiting to see if/when the 20 day crosses back above the 50 day.

Bo, did NM do 2 R/S's a week apart???

I ask because my charting service shows 2, one on 11/29/18 and one on 1/3/19.

Just had a look at the financials for this stock. Personally, I don't think the R/S is going to be bad for the stock. The issue appears to be delisting. The financials look OK for a recovering stock and it should not crash following uplist, as is usually the case. Can't see a problem.

Having said that... I sold most of my hipping holdings after the last runup, years ago now. I am surprised how beaten down the sector is... this is the only one I held because it was so strong. And I doubled down on it... did all the right things from a textbook, just can't believe how beaten down it is.

That is what I am thinking too. Once the shorts drive it down lower after the split, there is likely to be a nice run as they cover and others start buying.

carusso - It seems to me the RS will have to happen in order to keep NM trading on the exchange. The vote is planned for 12/21 during the annual meeting. Not sure when it would start trading on a split adjusted basis because of the Christmas holiday. After the split though there will be fewer than 12.5 million shares outstanding. Could be some interesting trading going on afterwards though.

If history is any teacher, stocks trade lower after a RS. 1:10 coming soon. Think I'll wait and see what the pps does.
