The new Dominion Retail prices are the lowest fixed prices offered for calendar year 2010 to Connecticut residential public utility consumers. CL&P and UI introduced new rates effective January 1, 2010 for both residential and commercial consumers. Dominion Retail pricing provides electric generation rates ranging from 6.8 percent to 12.14 percent lower than CL&P and UI Standard Service rates for residential and commercial customers for 2010. Dominion Retail's rate for CL&P residential or commercial customers is 10.3 cents per kilowatt hour (kWh) until December 31, 2010. Dominion Retail's rate for UI residential or commercial customers is 10.5 cents per kWh until December 31, 2010.
