Espanix Selects Terremark's NAP de las Americas-Madrid as the First Remote Point of Access to Expand Its Mission-Critical Infras

announced that Espanix, Spain�s largest Internet Exchange, has
approved Terremark�s NAP de las Americas Madrid facility in Spain
to serve as the first Remote Access Point for the Espanix exchange.
Terremark will provide Espanix and its members with secure and
redundant internet infrastructure, colocation space and power. As a
result, Espanix members collocated at Terremark�s Madrid facility
will be able to have access to other Espanix members located at the
core Espanix node. Espanix is a non-profit association composed of
the most important telecom operators in Spain. Espanix' mission is
to promote the exchange of Internet traffic in Spain. Currently,
Espanix handles more than 70 gigs per second and 95% of the
