Item 5.02 — Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers

On August 24, 2023, Milestone Scientific Inc. (the “Company”) announced that Peter J. Milligan, the Company’s part-time Chief Financial Officer, resigned effective September 1, 2023. Mr. Milligan has indicated that he has decided to move onto other pursuits.

The Company has started the process to identify a suitable successor. The Company believes its current financial and accounting team will be sufficient to support ongoing operations and financial reporting.
