                   Appointment of two Non-Executive Directors

                     Appointment of Chief Operating Officer



Cardpoint, the provider of electronic payment transactions and the market leader
in the independent cash machine sector, announces that it has today appointed
two new Non-executive Directors, David Mills and David Golden.  In addition, the
company has appointed Paul Saxton as Chief Operating Officer.





David John Mills, Non-executive Director



David Mills (62) was formerly Chief Executive of Post Office Limited from 2002
to 2006.  His responsibilities included the development of Post Office Financial
Services which involved the establishment and roll-out of an ATM network of 1500
units.  David began his career at Midland Bank in 1962 and served 40 years with
the business, including three years as HSBC's General Manager of Personal
Banking.  In this role his responsibilities included chairing First Direct,
personal banking, cards, and call centres.  Previously a Director of Maestro
International, Chair of Mastercard Europay UK Ltd and Chair of APAC's Cash
Services, he has vast knowledge of debit transaction-processing and strong
contacts in the industry across Europe.  In addition, David was a Non-executive
Director of Camelot Group PLC, the National Lottery operator, from 2003 to 2006.



David Mills holds or is interested in 55,000 Cardpoint shares.



David Golden, Non-executive Director



David Golden (66) is presently Chairman of Altrix Healthcare plc, a role he has
held since 2001.  Since 1994 he has also been Chairman of MPSL Group and has
been a Non-executive Director of Southern Water Services Limited since 2003.  He
was formally the director responsible for capital programme outsourcing and
delivery at BNFL and Northwest Water, as well as Group Controller at AMEC plc.
In addition, he has previously served as Deputy Chairman of William Hare Limited
and is a Justice of the Peace.



Paul Saxton, Chief Operating Officer



Paul Saxton has been appointed as Chief Operating Officer (not a Board
appointment).  Paul joins from Bradford and Bingley PLC where he was Managing
Director from 2004 to 2006 with overall responsibility for all retail activity
within the Group during a period when it delivered strong profit improvement.
Previously Paul spent 22 years from 1982 at B&Q in a number of roles. From 2003
he served as Director of B&Q International following a year as Director of
International Development.  During this period he helped establish new
businesses in China, Korea and Turkey, taking B&Q China to number one market
share position within four years of market entrance.



Commenting on the appointments, Bob Thian, Chairman of Cardpoint, said:

Board and our operational management team.  They bring extensive and relevant
experience which will be invaluable as we seek to grow this company and I am
delighted to welcome them to the Company.  We expect to appoint a third
non-executive in the coming weeks."
