Axa to Exit Ukraine Market After Sale of Operations to Fairfax

AXA SA (CS.FR) said Tuesday that it entered into an agreement
with Fairfax Financial Holdings Ltd. (FFH.T) to sell its insurance
operations in Ukraine and exit the Ukrainian market.
The French insurance company said Fairfax will acquire both the
entire non-life-entity and the entire life-entity operations under
the terms of the deal.
No financial details have been disclosed and the transaction is
subject to customary closing conditions.
