(TSX VENTURE:VIO)(FRANKFURT:VL5) - Societe d'exploration miniere Vior inc.
("Vior") is pleased to announce the closing of a private placement of $99,960 $
with SODEMEX II, accredited investors and a director, through the issuance of
1,249,500 common shares of Vior at a price of $0.08 per share and 624,750
warrants. Each warrant entitles its holder to purchase one share at a price of
$0.10 until March 18, 2010, and thereafter at a price of $0.15 per share until
March 18, 2011. The common shares and the attached warrants are subject to a
hold period ending on July 19, 2009. Net proceeds from this placement will be
used for general working capital purposes.


Vior also announces the closing of a private placement of $150,000 with
accredited investors through the issuance of 1,250,000 flow-through common
shares at a price of $0.12 per share. Net proceeds (5% finder's fee deducted)
will be used to finance exploration on the company's properties.


Furthermore, Vior is pleased to welcome Mr. Jean-Francois Ouellete to its Board.
Mr. Ouellette holds a Geology degree from the Universite du Quebec in Montreal
and counts more than 20 years of experience in mining exploration. After several
years of working as a project geologist and an exploration manager for the
Vior-Mazarin mining group, he started his own company, Services Techniques
Geonordic Inc., a consultancy firm specializing in mineral exploration in
northern territorries. Mr. Ouellette is co-recipient of the Bill Dennis Award,
prospector of the year, awarded by the PDAC for the discovery of the Eleonore
gold deposit. He is currently serving as Vice-President of the Quebec Mining
Exploration Association.
