Singapore state investment company Temasek Holdings and U.S. buyout company Advent International are among investors in talks to buy a controlling stake in Brazilian electronic-toll-collection company Servicos & Tecnologia de Pagamentos SA, Bloomberg News reported Tuesday, citing two unnamed sources.

STP hired Banco BTG Pactual SA to sell an undisclosed stake to fund expansion, the report on Bloomberg's website said.

U.S. private equity company General Atlantic LLC, Brazil bank Itau Unibanco Holding SA (ITUB) and payment processing company Cielo SA (CIOXY) are also holding talks with STP, the report quoted a source as saying.

STP said in an emailed statement it has been evaluating offers and hasn't made a decision, while Temasek, Advent, General Atlantic, Itau and Cielo declined comment, the report said.
